Jumbo Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Brantford

1star is because of the lack of respect the young staff have for customers.. We have ordered from This Jumbo dragon since they opened. The food has always been pretty good . They have however mixed up dishes or orders over the years but corrected them without ' much problem' The last 4 times within 2 months they have mixed up pretty bad . Ive returned orders , called about them , just taken what we've got all at our expense . But .... 2 days ago June 19 2020 was the last time we will spend our money there for several reasons .... We almost ALWAYS order the same thing . Combo dishes . Instead of a sesame chicken combo we got an order of sesame chicken with a plain rice . And the other 2 combos got 1 egg roll each . I clearly stated 1 lunch special and 2 combos and 3 egg rolls about 4 times . When I called back an immature very rude untrained little girl answered . Raising her voice saying I did not say that, laughing scoffing condescending . I could not beleive yet again another 50.00 spent (its usually more when everyone orders chinese) to be treated disrespectedly at Jumbo. I was never there long enough to see these next things happening . They arent wearing masks when you walk in. They pull them onto their face while touching the front of masks then touching other things. They attend to the cash the go back and keep prepping food without washing hands etc When customers call they talk bad about them when they hang up amongst themselves. You all need better customer service skills and communication! As a trained FST Trainer you all need to take a course immediately! Especially know that you are not the only food in town . We are giving Blessings and Beijing our full customer...

PSA to prevent you from disappointment on receiving the wrong order.

Their item descriptions need editing, specifically on the combination platters based on my experience today.

I ordered C2: Egg Roll, Sweet and sour chicken, CHICKEN CHOW MEIN, and Chicken Fried Rice.

As you can see from the photo, there is no sight of noodles. Instead, there is CHICKEN CHOP SUEY.

I ordered through skip the dishes. So naturally, I was trusting the description written under each item on the APP + their website. Had I known it was going to be chicken chop suey, I wouldn’t have ordered this.

I called the restaurant asking for them to confirm what the item was supposed to be and they said “chicken chop suey” I let them know that the description on their website and skip the dish app was incorrect and asked that they look into it and fix it since it caused some confusion once I received the order. The lady at the restaurant said only C1 had noodles, and C2 doesn’t… she didn’t address/seem to understand my concern about the description reading wrong. I asked if I could get it replaced or money back and she said I would have to go back and pay the extra $2 if I wanted noodles. She also said she couldn’t do a refund or deliver to me since I ordered though Skip the Dishes.

Suggestion: just call and ask about items as you order, don’t trust...

Best place in Brantford, Ontario to buy chinese food. I find it easier on the stomach than most places and they now even have debit on delivary! My favorite things to order are the combo platters. I usually get a C6 , C7, or C11. They are always cool with me substituting my rice for something else and letting me substitute my egg roll for a spring roll or pop for a very small charge. Staff is so polite and delivery is most times there about 15-30 min before the estimated time if they are not to busy. Love you guys and thank you for coming to brantford!

EDIT: 2024 Might want to edit your website with corrects hours as you are no longer open on Wednesdays. Also they have not been as generous as they used to be with sauces on sweet n sour chicken and almond suey guy in combo platters you dont get enough sauce to cover all the mentioned items leaving food dry. Still best Chinese in brantford though. Only place that doesn't upset my very sensitive stomach.
