We had eaten at Vito's prior to the new owner's and we had always loved it. We recently went here for a family dinner, it wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. We went to eat for around 8 pm, we waited to be seated as the sign suggests, however, after 10 min there was one other table occupied in the restaurant, and they suggested that we just take a seat, so we did. It took the server about another 15-20 min just to come over and take our drink order which was a little irritating since no one else was there. We finally got our drinks, my son said the pop was very flat and wouldn't drink it. We ordered once we got our drinks and then it took quite awhile before our food came out. We had ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and gravy, lasagna and a pizza. The pizza, fries and lasagna was quite delicious, however the lasagna was a little disappointing as the sauce was supposed to be a meaty bolognese and it was quite watery, there was a pool when I was done eating. Some of the fries were great and some were overcooked, it was like they took leftover fries and put them on a plate, then topped it off with some freshly cooked ones. The gravy was also watery and very bland. The chicken sandwich was like eating a piece of rubber, the chicken was so chewy. We originally wanted a wrap, but unfortunately they don't serve those over dinner anymore. The server was ok, she seemed a little miserable, didn't come back to our table so we weren't able to get refills. The place itself had a home like feel to it, however it was very hot in the restaurant the night we went in and we were sweating by the time we left. Overall, I gave it a 3-star because for the most part, the food tasted pretty good, but it definitely needs some work in order to have the same quality as it...

Dec31, went for dinner lastnight...waitress was absolutely amazing!!! Chicken wings very good!!!! I was absolutely shocked to see it was 7.50 for fries!! Overall experience was good...

Went to sit in for dinner, 2 of us. Ordered steak sub, and clubhouse. Waitress stated that they do not serve sandwiches after 3:30. She stated that we could order it at the takeout. Went to takeout side, altho we wanted to dine in, and ordered for takeout. Was asked to be explained to as to why a sandwich would not be on the menu. She stated because it does get busy. There happened to not be 1 person in dining room at this time. Ended that she told us to go back to diningroom and they would serve us what we wanted. Seems so silly, Vitos steak sub has been around for YEARS...Frank would be so disappointed to hear that it matters the time of day when you order certain items. While waiting for dinner, my sister inlaw went to her car, the owners were playing ball in parking lot, and the ball hit her.car. she stated her displeasure, and was given the comment back, its a soft ball. The waitress was AMAZING and the women working in the kitchen was kind. Vitos, you need to do...

Been here a couple times before and went there today for a late lunch, ordered the Marsala chicken. It was probably the furthest thing I’ve ever seen from a Marsala anything. There was clearly no Marsala in the dish. It was chicken Alfredo with mushrooms. Maybe I’m just picky, but Marsala is usually a key ingredient when it’s in the title. It was okay, but my expectations would have been something at least similar to one of Italys most famous dishes. The pita with Tzatziki somehow took 20 minutes to come out. My wife asked if pita comes with the souvlaki and was told yes, when there was none with it , she asked for a piece, but why they sent out a second full appetizer order with the tzatziki again, also, 20 minutes later when we had packed up our leftovers is beyond me. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the server was nice enough, though she didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Looking at the recent reviews here I can see why. It must be hard to work in a place where such little care or consistency are used, which inevitably garners poor reviews, which seems to be the only consistent thing about...

Over my life i have eaten at the vitos in brighton, and in colborne, and i have never been disappointed. My mom and I used to stop there every few weeks when we would be travelling through, and i used to live in both colborne and Brighton. I decided to stop in the other day and get what i normally do, a steak and cheese sub. I ordered 2 small steak and cheese subs, and a poutine. They made a mistake and made one of the subs large, which was nice as they gave me the large sub. They were super friendly, the service was above and beyond, but the sub was a disappointment. It was dry and had minimal steak or cheese. Im not sure if it was just an off day or what, but it was very sad, I went in for nostalgia and left with disappointment. Please up your game Vito's!!!

I recently visited Vito's Pizzeria and had one of the best pizza experiences in a long time. We ordered the pizza and it was pure heaven. The crust was absolutely spot-on—perfectly crisp on the outside, wonderfully chewy inside, and clearly made with skill. The sauce had that beautiful balance of tangy and savory, and the quality of the toppings was noticeable. Every slice was piping hot, loaded with flavor, and just tasted incredibly fresh. If you are a pizza lover in the Brighton area, you simply must try Vito's. They clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in the delicious final product. Highly, highly recommend! We will definitely be back soon.

This restaurant is a little hidden gem in Brighton! Good variety on the menu, food was delicious, and the waitress was awesome! We started with a homemade "Cheddar-Broccoli-Chicken-Bacon" bowl of soup each, followed by a small pizza to split. Hubby then ordered a slice of the 'So Good Chocolate' cake. It was truly worth the calories! I've attached pics of the soup and the chocolate cake, but forgot to take a pic of the pizza. We sat at their outdoor patio as it was a nice evening, but the inside of the restaurant appears to be cozy and nice. Food was excellent, and we wouldn't hesitate to return here next time we are in Brighton. Highly recommend!
