barBURRITO — Restaurant in British Columbia

UPDATES (spoke with Prada a senior with the company who offered me a free burrito for the experience with jesse.) I just had "jesse" serve me. As soon as I began my interaction with jesse he yelled at me as if he was short tempered and not enjoying his job. I asked if he needed 5 minutes to himself to collect himself and he insisted it was so I could hear him. I placed my order after he apologized and he did not follow directions and put corn in the burrito. If I was allergic to corn this would have been a deathly mistake and when I brought it towards him he brushed it off and did not offer to remake it or comp the meal. I would recommend you put jesse in a crash course in service if he continues to work at your establishment as I have previously had good interactions at this specific location and chose to come back because of it. Now I have hesitations if jesse were to handle my food again without care or concern and a awful attitude. I liked the barburrito in Kelowna but 100% will not come here again and no one else should. After I got my order I was sitting at one of the tables. The staff member that made my food came and sat down at another table and starting picking his nose. Multiple times and got his finger right up there. Tempted to report if I can find somewhere to do it. I tried to take a few pics of the staff member in the middle of it but was hard to do so and not be obvious. Not sure if I can post them here without some legal issue but if I can I will.

Response to owner: the owner says he cares but does inquire on what employee was picking his nose. Made no mention of improving anything, just a hollow corporate response. Your "standards" do not exist and I'll see if a health inspector wants the pictures of the employee picking his nose in...

It was fantastic! Go here instead of whatever chain restaurant you were planning on! It's just as fast and just as little money, yet it is a small business with deliciously fresh food. Not only was the food tasty, it was more than that. It was what food should be, a vibrant experience full of the joy of life. (It seems there a lot of extreme reviews on here, if you are unsure which ones to believe, I would suggest going for yourself to try it, its not a huge commitment, one meal that you may have gone to tim hortons or somewhere. Aditionally to point out, if you did go to a chain and there was for example "too much cinnamon" one day, does that constitute rage and never going to that establishment again?
