Always the BEST fish & chips in town. Fresh, not fishy or greasy and delicious!!

Their fresh & frozen section is also well stocked and always superb. I discovered this spot when I was living in Rose Valley, and have since moved near the airport - but it is worth the drive! I cannot recommend Buy The Sea enough & love to bring friends & family here when they visit from out of town.

UPDATE: I believe this location is under new ownership/changed hands. My experience with the new ownership is that they most definitely changed suppliers as the fish & chips is still quite good but not the best in town anymore. I’ve also found varying quality when it comes to products I’ve purchased do cook at home. Some tastes the same as before, excellent, and other times it was a total miss. This could be due to other factors and not new owners - but I’ve stopped driving across the bridge to come here specifically.

After nearly a year and since we were at the medical clinic a block away, we decided to pickup some fish and chips with the works. But to our disappointment, after confirming that we needed two one piece halibut meals, being asked to pay for the meals before it was packed, handed over and after being made to wait for over 30 minutes, we reach home to find that the fish was cold (seemed like it was fried and it just lay around before being packed) and to add to it, there was no tartare sauce and lemon.
