Loved the place, food, service, setting and the choice of music/ songs played. They made my day as I was listening to those songs after years and they were all good, back to back. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. They have started breakfast menu which includes Paranthas and South Indian food as well which was much better than Dosa Crepe Cafe. Dosa, Sambhar Chutney all were good. Ordered Paranthas too, gobhi was better than paneer. Paneer was way too simple, good for kids. Mysore Masala Dosa does not come with that red chutney/ paste instead it has more onions and coriander than regular Masala Dosa. Generous portioning and great prices. Service was amazing. Bill and the menu is attached for your reference, gratuity is included. Loved the ambience too. Highly recommended!! Visited again and ordered the same stuff. They have changed the shape of the dosa and the current one is better. Didn't like the sambhar at all. It tasted very different, previous recipe was good. Chutney was also ok, could be better. Raita served with parantha was good. Service was slow! (Pics attached with the invoice)

We came here to celebrate one last meal with a family member before they moved out of town and Made In India provided an excellent meal! My daughter insisted on the Mango Chicken Curry which was a crowd pleaser. The veggie pakoras were very big and full of flavour. The butter chicken was good but the beef curry was pretty chewy and the least favourite curry that we ordered. The lamb roagan was tender and we all enjoyed the Aloo Gobhi more than the Kadhai Vegetables. We had 2 orders of the white basmati rice and an order of the safron rice (not much added flavour but bright yellow colour) the naan was served nice and hot. We all found the Gulab Jamun desert too sweet (including my crazy sweet tooth daughter) and no one wanted more than a bite of the desert. The service was good, we found the portion size of the curries on the smaller side for the price of each dish, but the food was overall great. We all had a wonderful time and hopefully the Indian beers will be in stock for our next visit :)

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine with a modern touch, look no further than Made in India. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the rich aroma of spices that instantly set the tone for a memorable meal. The menu offers a perfect balance of classic dishes and innovative twists. The butter chicken was incredibly creamy and flavorful, with just the right level of spice. The vegetarian options were equally impressive—especially the paneer tikka and dal makhani, which were both rich and satisfying. Service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dinners. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience high-quality Indian cuisine.

We love Indian food and my bf has a made in India restaurant by his work in Kelowna. We had a Date night and decided early in the morning that we wanted Indian food. We already have a few Indian restaurants in Westbank but thought we would give this a try. Just incase people don't know, this is where 5 guys burgers used to be. I still feel like I'm eating at 5 guys burgers but with Indian food. They didn't even take off the old white and red checkered tile or change the restaurant at all. No liquor just pop and juice ( I just wanted a glass of wine with dinner ). The outside of the windows were so dirty you could see every smudge, no blinds so if you were sitting in a booth a certain way you had to wear sunglass or shield your eyes. Staff was wearing bright blue polo shirst ( not that big of a deal just not authentic ). I dont normally post "Karen" comments but if you want to dine in and have an authentic Indian dining experience there are two other amazing restaurants in Westbank that will go above and beyond. We ordered an appy that was 5$ because we felt bad just getting up and walking out to go to their competition so I left a 5$ tip on top. The appy was ok ( worth the 5$) I would have ordered more instead of going to thier competition down the road had I not felt like I was still...

Update: April 20, 2024

Came to try their lunch buffet out. For $16 you will be crazy not to give this place a try. They have assorted naan, rice, 4-5 types of curries, samosas, fish pakora and a darn salad bar! I can't say enough good things about this place. If you've never been here, definitely give it a try. You won't regret it.

Below is my previous review

Honestly my wife and I have been coming here a little too often since we found this place a couple of months ago. First off, food portions and drink portions for the price is amazing. I come out with lunch for the next day (or a midnight snack) almost always, not to mention they've got gluten free options and a lot of them (including GLUTEN FREE NAAN) which helps my wife choose things freely without worry since the menu indicates all allergies. Also I have to mention the service. The service here is absolutely amazing. The servers are very attentive and will try their utmost best to give you the best experience you can have. To be honest, the service alone can bring me back to this place time and time again.

If you're looking for something quick, appetising and a place that cares for their customers I'd recommend you come here for a great meal! FYI THEY HAVE RECENTLY STARTED SERVING BREAKFAST! BE SURE TI...
