Wow, In response to your reply it is worrying that you seem to defend your team, (who no one is denying how hardworking it is as that’s not the issue here) with a lie to begin with. You said I called early in the evening and “asked” to have my order ready to collect at 7:30pm... well you must’ve confused me with a different client because I called just after 7:40pm, and being a new costumer you asked for my phone number and said would call me back to register my number. You called at 7:43 when I made my order, not before, and at the bottom is a photo screen of those phone calls to prove it. Yes I arrived after 8pm before your closing as you said it would take 20 mins for the food to be ready.
Yes you did try to make up for this incident by sending someone else with a replacement meal (the same one) where the beef was actually cooked so thanks you for that. It was what you should’ve done to make up for the mistakes done.
But you’re trying to shy away from the fact that you shouldn’t put raw meat badly packed in the same meal package where’s there’s also cooked noodles and beans sprouts and son on that are ready to eat. It’s not hygienic and it’s not acceptable. After you make sure you pack these items properly, You should also remind customers they will be receiving raw meat or at least put instructions on how to “cook” their meat for this particular order, even though it’s a take out and the reason you have take outs is to not cook at home.
And lastly, I’m sorry my husband made your server upset by respectfully and also understandably upset after having his meal completely ruined and our evening spoiled.
I just hope you take on board what happened with this meal for the future, so customers who have it on take out don’t have this problem, know what to do and can actually enjoy the food which in the end and after being reheated wasn’t too bad at all, specially the coconut prawns.
Good evening.
Just picked up a take away order for the first time from this restaurant which included Pho Medium rare... and what an unpleasant surprise when I opened this meal... now I’m new to Canada but coming from London England I ate a lot of Vietnamese food and I never ever had to cook the meat on a take away order... but even if you’re supposed to do that here, (which they never told me knowing I was a new costumer) what I don’t accept is that they packed the RAW MEAT sooo badly (in just cling film on top of the rice noodles and so on) that by the time I got home and opened it the BLOOD HAD LEAKED THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE MEAL! Seriously? Isn’t it unhygienic? Just had my wedding anniversary ruined just because we dared try a new place to eat. And after a furious but respectful phone conversation to them on the phone they finally agreed to send a delivery driver to refund us, (that’s all they wanted to do) and a meal replacement for my husband). My food is now way too cold. What a tremendous upset and disappointment before we even...
Read moreBeen going here for years. But yesterday I was quite surprised. I ordered a Wor Wonton soup. Clearly above the soup it states that all soups come with noodles. As she took my order, I confirmed I'd like the rice noodles... she responded that this soup doesn't come with the noodles. I pointed at the menu and showed her that it says there that it does. She said it's a typo. And that the noodles are $1 extra. I said that it really should be included if that's what the menu says. She said no. That it's not.. I said find, let's get the noodles. The soup was delicious... I get my bill and there is $1.50 charge for the noodles. I go up to pay and show her the bill and she said OH, that she made a mistake and she will fix it and make it $1. After standing there for quite some time as she was frantically typing on her till keyboard, I finally get my new bill, with the $1. on it. I commented that I am rather disappointed that this she couldn't have just included that based on what just happened. She then tells me I could talk to a manager if I want... cold, unfriendly. I paid and left.... likely never to return. The lack of awareness about this small issue and how important the customer service element is and how it was overlooked was fascinating. It wasn't about the $1, but how I was treated. And to a regular customer this was just...
Read moreEdit.. The response I now see below really shows the tone of the entire conversation with this store. They got money for a Doordarsh order that they did not produce and have gone out of their way to do absolutely nothing to make it right. I only heard about this refund that they were apparently going to issue AFTER I posted a review when the owner sent me a rude text message shaming me for writing such review. When I offered to take the review down, they disappeared only to come back out of nowhere weeks later to write a long winded, nasty response here instead of doing the right thing. Needless to say I won't be going back there...
Long story short, their "gluten free" items made me very sick and, I had to double pay for my order because of a door dash issue. I paid over $110 for a couple bowls of pho and an order of spring rolls that made me sick and I'm now at a whole month of back and forth with the restaurant and still don't have a refund for the meal that I paid for but didn't receive. Customer service is...
