I ordered an English Breakfast Latte through the mobile app and came to pick it up. After taking my first sip, I noticed it wasn’t sweet at all. I went back and politely mentioned this to the barista (an Indian girl whose name, I believe, started with 'P').
She said she had added the syrup and then asked the barista next to her (an Asian girl whose name I didn’t catch) about it. The second barista responded with visible anger, saying, 'Then what?' She then instructed the first barista to add syrup. The first barista did so with a grin on her face, but without offering an apology or thanks, and then pushed the drink toward me.
I was shocked by their reaction but picked up the drink and left. However, after tasting it again, it still didn’t taste right. I returned to the store, handed back the drink, and explained that it wasn’t as it usually is. I said I wouldn’t have it and left.
No one apologized, offered an alternative solution, or showed any concern. Instead, I received cold and mean looks. I didn’t ask for a refund because it wasn’t about the money—it was about the experience. Noisy and dirty.
Personally I wouldn't have those kind of patrons at my business, sitting outside trolling the neighborhood. They sit there to call the cops on musicans who play at Safeway, gossiping and I don't want to go inside with people like that sitting outside.
Spent over $100 on mugs and was told there is no free first refill anymore- wow, how cheap can you get?

Ordered 'butter scotch latte' and it tasted very bland. Went back saying "could you add more syrup? I can only taste milk". She was staring at me and yelling "It is supposed be with lots of milk" "So what do you want?" So I said 'can you add more syrup' She said 'well, did you ask for extra?!' I said 'uh..that's exactly what I am doing?' Then she yells again 'For your future ask for more syrup when you order!!'
