Arrived just after 12noon, so there was a bit of a wait; 15 to 20min before we were seated. Be fore warned though the following has several breaches in food safe practices. The first offense being the silverware and cups brought to the table. The rinsing agents hadn't even had time to dry and they are setting them on a napkin for your use. Second offense, the coffee cup brought to me full of coffee was completely filthy on the outside of the cup due to improper dishwasher practices. Third offense, condiment bottles with dried food products on the lid where you place your hands to open it. Fourth offense, women's washroom a complete pig sty(brought my girlfriend) Being a food service professional with over 20yrs in the industry, on of the things I've learned are that eggs that are fried do not spew water out of them like a flowing river. Your kitchen staff are to blame for that and NOT the so called amount of water the fouls drink prior to their demise as the manager on shift tried so hard to justify. Shame on you. This store need a drastic overhaul in their food preparation and sanitation applications other wise go back to the states!!!! It's funny that we are a few months away from another pay hike to min wage workers but their quality, pasion and care for their employers or the people they are paid to service certain doesn't warrant any hike in wages. If anything you should all be demoted back to wages of the 1900's. Perhaps then you would all change your attitudes and follow the exact same training I recieved and actually apply it! Update June 2/24. Arrive here just after 8pm on the 1st of June. First thing observed was a kitchen insert with salad mix sitting on a dinning room table amongst a bag of personal items, a plate with half eaten food on it and other things. Picture posted. Once seated and our orders arrived the waitress whom we had issues with the first time and our current waitress she walked away as though she was done. My side of sausages wasn't even a thought in her dull little head nor was asking if we needed anything else like ketchup that wasn't on the table. She was called back and asked to bring said items. The sausages that were brought to me were colder than the food I had already been eating for 10min. My girlfriends mac and cheese was also cold as well. I was not asked how I wanted my eggs done for the Benny that was ordered and when I cut in to both eggs one was completely hard and the other flowing like a river. My girlfriend requested that her mac and cheese be sent back and a side salad be it's replacement and I requested that the sausages be taken off the bill as they were cold and I didn't even eat half of one link. When the side salad arrived it was considerably larger than what most establishments would give as a side. The waitress again walked away afer dropping off the food item before I could question anything. By this point we had been there almost an hour and both of us completely disgusted. I got up to see of the insert of salad was still were it was when we walked in and it was. After talking with the older waitress that didn't serve us and informing her of this nights issues and the ones before I also pointed out the salad and mention it was unsafe to serve to customers and she said it was garbage and that's why it was there and knocked the cost of our drinks off the bill. I got back to the table and when my dinning companion asked me about the salad and if it was charged or not it hit me like a tonne of bricks. I immediately questioned our waitress if she served is that salad mix to which she replied with yes, that's what we do. Fyi, this is not a proper food safe practice and is a writable offense to knowingly serve contaminated food to customers which is what happened here. I called the other waitress over and demanded a full refund based on these facts. They tried to get me to leave without giving me a refund claiming they closed out the till but I would not have it. They finally gave me the cash back after taking their sweet time to do it. Manager is just...

Very special mention goes to Natasha whose traits are text book definitions for how to be a perfect hostess! From the moment we were seated till the moment we got out, it was such an awesome journey. Courteous, sincere, fast and intelligent in handling our requests for both sit and dine and takeout. Flawless and perfect to the core!
We were surprised at the speed of delivery of food items to our table and we exclaimed telling her how come so fast, pat came the reply from her that it’s breakfast and so it has got to be fast! She also mentioned pay cheque meaning customer satisfaction is directly connected to the pay cheque!
How many people understand such a simple but a very important and fundamental fact! She also delivered everything pretty quick without holding back or waiting to be asked, proactively! So, you get everything you ordered for, directly from the oven, piping hot and steaming hot! It was a real pleasure to eat all the items so hot, that included coffee as well! What an asset having such an employee like Natasha in any business!
This is our first ever visit to this location and we regretted of the fact that why it took so long for us to come to this gem of a place! Very clean ambiance in a nice looking building with perfect seating layout and ample car parking, though it’s in the very centre of the city!
This place has now become our ‘go to IHOP’ for our breakfast! If you haven’t visited this place yet, please do so and you will understand why we are praising so much...
Read moreThe service is always very good & friendly here, but I'm disappointed with the quality of the food. It's fine if you just want a quick batch of pancakes from their classic pancake mix but when branching into other parts of their menu I've been disappointed by the ingredients and the quality of the cooking.
Recently tried their avocado toast with medium poached eggs - advertised to have grilled bread, avocado and roasted cherry tomatoes. The bread was just a plain piece of Dempsters or something, not grilled in the pan nor toasted for more than 10 seconds, the cherry tomatoes were raw with some blackened edges, probably thrown in a very hot pan for 10 seconds. The eggs were hard poached with the whites totally falling apart and swimming in a pool of water. Really disappointing. The eggs also seem to be the cheapest kind of eggs (not free range) based on the very bright yolk colour and lack of richness of the yolk.
I've found the omelettes also dont have much egg flavour - I suspect both due to them using cheap eggs and using a bit of pancake mix in the omelette to give it the fluffiness, resulting in the egg tasting a bit bland, so it relies on the cheese and other toppings to carry it in the flavour department. But they are a generous portion size for the price.
I also noticed plastic is chipping/shredding off the spout of the coffee carafes so I'm hoping there arent little bits of plastic melting off into my coffee as I pour... Think these might need to be replaced with ones that dont use a plastic spout.
I'll stick to pancakes and waffles from here on out...
