A friend and I decided to go for a chili dinner a few days ago. We were in the middle of dinner when a few families, not sure how many, set up hockey nets right behind where we were sitting and proceeded to let their kids play in the restaurant. There were 2 other tables in use besides ours. Well, the puck went flying by my head a few times. No apologies. One of the mothers just stated they were having a hockey seminar. One of the men was going back and forth behind the counter. Owner?? The last time I was at that specific store I waited 45 mins for them to run out my order. I waited for the drive thru to be empty before I flew up to the window and demanded a refund. I went full Karen. Well my Karen came out again this particular night. I made a bit of a scene leaving, but honestly they probably never noticed. The entitlement of these people to come in to disrupt the customers, causing all kinds of chaos and letting their kids run around like animals while others were there is so disrespectful of the people that wanted to enjoy a bit of quiet time was unreal. I will never go to that store for anything and I am telling everyone I know to avoid that store. The amount of order screw ups that they have in the drive thru is unacceptable and being run out of the dining room is also unacceptable. It's not a cheap place to stop for a coffee or a bite to eat, they have no standards in the way they treat their customers and rush you through everything. The staff always cuts me off mid order, gets it wrong and when get just as short as they are they give you the stink eye. I am actually fed up with our local spots and the...
Read morewent through the drive-thru around 11am today and no one else was in it except for me. I asked to have a minute to look at the menu as I didn't know what I wanted yet, and the girl helping me must've been having a rough day because she took out her annoyance on me :( she asked what she could get for me and I said "hi! could I please have a minute to take a look at your menu?" she paused and responded with "uhhh whateverrr, when you're ready" I said thank you, but it was still unpleasant, and I felt rushed even with no one else behind me. 10 seconds later she said, "are you ready now?" I said, "not yet almost" and she sighed into the mic and said "k". I felt too rushed and anxious and ended up getting something random. When I got to the window she said, "here's your donut" and I recognized her voice and demeanor right away. I decided to take a risk and ask for napkins while I waited for the rest of my food. she sighed again, grabbed the napkins, and nearly whipped them in my face and wouldn't even look at me. I paused because I was surprised at this behavior but when I went to reach the napkins she shook then at me because I was taking too long to grab them. She was overall passive aggressive, and I don't know why she decided to take it out on me. I love Tim Hortons but being treated like I killed her puppy was not deserved and someone should definitely check on her to make sure she is okay. Hopefully she's nicer to the rest of her...
Read moreI recently visited the Tim Hortons at the Carrington branch in West Kelowna, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The coffee was just perfect—rich, smooth, and steaming hot, just how I like it. I tried their classic Double-Double, and it was honestly one of the best I've had! The pastries were fresh and delicious; I couldn't resist grabbing a chocolate croissant that was flaky and indulgent.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, quick, and genuinely seemed to care about making my experience enjoyable. Even during a busy rush, they maintained a positive attitude and made sure everyone was served promptly.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. Plus, the cleanliness of the place was impressive, which always enhances the overall experience.
