Food was cold , kinda thrown at you i ordered and not even 5 mins in was on my table, leaves you to think that its all prepared earlier and not that fresh like they clame . I was served by a woman named andree-anne she told me she was new there , her service was very good i have nothing to bad about her service she took proper care of me and she made a very bad experience quite enjoyable . But the rest of the staff looked like chickens with there head cut off . One drinking tim Horton coffee at the work place , it makes u feel like they wont support there restaurant and also seeing them huddled around there computer in the corner its not a place to chat the brezze . You are there to serve customers not talk about last night . I saw customers annoyed . In sum if you go choose to go there ask for Andree-anne's section you know you will be served right and cared for , she put the clients before herself , you cant find that often anymore . General service 1⭐ Andree-anne's service 5⭐ I would only go back if i could be served by her and i think everyone should do the same . She has an magnetic smile that makes you feel at home . If you want a restaurant with a good service go there and ask for her. If you want a restaurant for good breakfast go to any other restaurant besides there .
Like i said her service was impeccable but the rest was horrid beans that taste like soap , creton that tasts 3 weeks old and bacon turning green . If i could give her 6⭐ i would and the food a half⭐ the only thing on plate that was good was the...

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time — especially coming from a brand like Ben & Florentine, which I usually love at other locations.
We arrived at the Brossard branch and waited at the entrance for almost five full minutes, standing there awkwardly, hoping someone would notice us. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet no staff member approached us or even looked in our direction. We had to wave and make eye contact for someone to finally acknowledge us.
When we were seated, the table wasn’t even ready — no cutlery, napkins, or water. We had to ask for water and coffee ourselves. And when the coffee finally came (after several reminders), it was served in broken, chipped cups. Honestly, it was shocking that they would still use damaged dishes for guests. It made us question their standards of hygiene and care.
The food itself was not great. The portion sizes were small, especially considering the high prices, and the taste was bland, the fruits was not fresh . I’ve been to other Ben & Florentine branches and always enjoyed the food — this one felt like a completely different experience. I left hungry and disappointed.
What frustrated us most was the lack of professionalism from the staff. The waiter ignored our table repeatedly, even while chatting casually and showing videos to other customers on his phone. We had to ask three separate times just to get a coffee refill. There was no sense of urgency or respect for the customers. We felt like we were bothering them just by being there.
I would never recommend this location. If you want to enjoy Ben & Florentine, go to a different branch. This one needs serious training, new management, and a reminder of what customer service means ——-———————
Read moreAnyone can flip an egg and call it over-easy but if you get the little things wrong the same eggs just won't taste right. A good breakfast place is about tradition, charm, routine and conviviality more so than it is about the food. Service is important.
I'm not Raymond from the 1988 movie complaining that my maple syrup is cold but I find it appalling that we'd be charged 1.95$ extra for some cold one, in Quebec. That we'd be charged 2.65$ to change our potatoes for fries.
We notice how the bread is not buttered and that by the time we get to butter it ourselves the bread is too cold to have it melt. We notice how the tomatoes are the cheapest unripe ones on the market. We notice how the sausages are not entirely made out of meat but have this breadding inside to add volume.
Then there is the service. We've been going to this place for roughly two years for breakfast lunch and the service has been getting slower and slower mostly due to the high employee turnover.
With all of that it's hard to recommend this place. We go because it's convenient but we wouldn't go out of our way to go there especially on a week end where time matters less. Let's face this it. If I have to butter my own toast I may as well flip my own...
