Today I went to Mucho Burrito for a take out order. I ordered two burritos, the service was lacking. The employee was mumbling his way through the order and clearly didn't want to be there. That is fine - at the en d of the day we all have our ups and downs. As I proceeded down for topping - the next employee seemed to lack the concept of time and would disappear to the back to get cheese when it was right there. (not to mention he added like 5 shreds of it in the burrito). As I was waiting, I noticed all the clients were on edge about their experience. I witnessed the lady behind me ask for no beans and the employee added them. She requested to have that corrected as her son was a picky eater - he just looked around blankly for a solid minute and then proceeded to pick them off with his hands and throw them back into the original container with beans. When I left the restaurant - I figured let me call and advise them to be careful especially given us being in a pandemic - we should be mindful of cross contamination. The person I spoke to proceeded to reply "so what- she didn't get the beans." I told him that I don't think he is understanding the point of my call but he proceeded to be rude and I gave up. I did say I don't think this is in your capacity to understand so it's fine. He replied with the use of profanity...
Read moreJust came back from this Mucho Burrito. I've been here multiple times before and had a great experience. It seems that new owners and employees are working here now. They were SO stingy with EVERYTHING! I got less than the usual chicken. I usually don't get rice and get more beans every time I go and that is always fine, but they clearly did not understand this here because I had to ask twice to finally get the usual amount of beans that I get. When I got my toppings, I got maybe a tablespoon worth of corn and when I asked if I could get some more, the man kept shouting "extra" and told me it would count as a second topping. Again, I got a tablespoon or less of salsa and could not ask for more... Really disappointed with these new staff because now I'll have to search for another Mucho Burrito that is going to be further away from me. Reminder to the new owners/staff that "mucho" means "a lot" so people always expect a decent burrito with decent toppings and meat when they come to the store...Not a stingy experience....
Read moreThe cook had a filthy shirt and overall unhygienic appearance. The peppers were sliced without removing the seeds. Some cooks were not wearing gloves. The overall quality of this franchise has greatly deteriorated lately.
EDIT: I tried giving the place a chance and went back. It was around 6:15 PM on a Tuesday and the place was very understaffed with only 2 employees overall. The line was very long and the employee was pressuring everyone to order even before they were in front of the goods. There was a lot of ingredients missing and the employee did nothing to apologize and was kind of rude. She said they were not making any because it took time. I asked what they would do if a Uber Eats order came with beans and she said they would scrape the juice from the bin, if any was left.
Overall, this franchise is still very subpar and I cannot ever recommend such a greedy and lacking...
