The food was surprisingly good, but I had some issues with the lack of staff and their extra charges for everything. During in-dining, we waited for over 40 minutes before we started getting food on the table, which I had to bring myself. The chef wasn't Japanese or Asian, and he seemed overwhelmed with handling Uber orders and walk-in orders, which affected our experience negatively.
I was particularly annoyed by how stingy the restaurant was. Despite ordering a substantial amount of food, we were told to pay extra for additional sauce, ginger, or spicy mayo. After spending over $100, it felt unreasonable to charge for basic condiments. Even when the food was ready, we had to ask for napkins and...
Read morePoor service at this location. I asked for an English menu, was informed there was none but she would translate. I indicated 3 items that I had questions about and she just entered them as orders without explaining them. I wanted these items but was unsure about what I was getting. She did not provide a receipt when I asked for one, and when she did a reprint it was a completely different order. She seemed like she wanted to just fill orders and didn’t have the time of day to help me. No soy sauce provided with a $40 spend. Very poor yuzu experience at this location. If you want the English menu, read it online. 2 stars because I did like the...

She suggested I look at what was in the fridge instead; however, I couldn't buy any of what I saw because of my allergies. All I wanted was 3 soups and 2 avocado rolls... This was a very odd experience. No one else was in the restaurant, so it was pretty obvious that they were busy with take-outs. I'll give them one star because I don't have a choice. I understand that there's a shortage of employees everywhere, but this could easily be solved if owners increased wages,...
