All hail the mighty gluten! Great little noodle joint. The noodles are made fresh and offer 7 types of thickness and cuts.

The fresh braids of wheat flour offer chewy noodles and the kitchen generously fill your bowl with carby delight and flavourful broths (a regular size is usually enough although a large is not impossible to finish). We love the triangle and thick noodles. The cooking of the thick noodles is not always consistent (sometimes overcooked) but they have the triangle noodle cooking down pack. Personally, the triangle ones offer the greatest slurpping experience as they gently glide into your mouth with maximum surface to soup/flavour ratio without splashing as much as the other noodles. Call it efficient SLURPaerodynamic. Extra points for the great lip and mouth feel because of the extra ridges in the triangle cut.

I suspect there is a good amount of MSG because I am quite thirsty after eating there but it does not stop me from going back.

The meat to noodle ratio is not the greatest for the traditional bowl (beef slices) but it is acceptable for the braise pork or the chicken coconut broth ones.

The eggs are very forgettable and we only take them for extra protein.

Side dishes: spicy cucumber one is not that spicy at all and the cucumber is crunchy and gives a refreshing experience. The edamame is great too and fun to eat. Good depth with the preserved greens in it. The potatoe sliver salad is our favorite though. Not bad balance of soft and crunchy but could be crunchier. Good taste. Seaweed: beware. It is very potent and a bit hard to eat (loooog strands). So it you do not like sea tasting stuff or hard to pick stuff, stay away.

The mini lamb skewers are great. Too many times, I find other restaurants overdo it with the cummin not here. It is very good. 1 basket is usually not enough (although they are decently generous). Could be a bit less overcooked but not dry in any sense of it. Really like it!

Prices are right, portions are very decent, parking is easy. If it open until late, it would be a great late night fix and would consider going even more often.

Good job, Kung Fu...

I recently had the immense pleasure of dining at this exceptional Chinese noodle restaurant, and I must say it was a culinary experience that I will never forget. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the warm, inviting ambiance and the intoxicating aromas wafting from the kitchen.

The service was nothing short of outstanding. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. I was thoroughly impressed by the extensive menu, which featured a plethora of authentic and innovative noodle dishes, each more tantalizing than the last.

The star of the show was, without a doubt, the noodles themselves. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, each mouthful was a delightful adventure. The hand-pulled noodles were a revelation, with their springy texture and ability to soak up the rich, delectable sauces. I cannot recommend the Szechuan Spicy Beef Noodles enough – the tender, succulent beef and the perfectly balanced symphony of spices created a dish that left me craving more.

The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the meal, from the artful presentation to the harmonious blend of flavors and textures. I was especially impressed by the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, which truly elevated each dish to a new level of deliciousness.

In summary, this Chinese noodle restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. The combination of expertly crafted dishes, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere ensures that this establishment stands head and shoulders above the rest. I cannot wait to return and continue my exploration of their remarkable menu. Five stars,...

I’ve been to KungFu Noodle before a few times and knew that on a cold day like today this would hit the spot! The place is located in a small neighborhood mall and has really easy parking access. It’s clean, the tables are a tad on the small side but otherwise comfortable.

The star here is the hand-pulled noodles. You can choose from a variety of noodle dishes and select your preferred thickness, with a handy reference on one of the walls.

We were three and each ordered some braised beef soups. The broth is satisfying, flavourful. The beef is very tender and the noodles were just the right amount of tender but chewy.

Never got totally comfortable grabbing them with chopsticks but the effort is worth it. Part of the experience is the view of the person making the noodles fresh to order and the sound of the twist and snap can at times make you jump when you aren’t expecting it but it’s fun to watch. A lunch spot that never...
