We wanted to try sea urchins and called ahead to ask if they were fresh. We were told yes, so we decided to come. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were very disappointed.
In our opinion, the place looked dirty, the server’s apron was torn with holes, and although they showed us that the sea urchins were in sealed packaging, they were not in their shells. That immediately made us think about leaving, but the reviews said the food was delicious, so we decided to stay and give it a try. We also ordered some sushi.
Unfortunately, the next day, we all got food poisoning. Today is the third day, and we’re still feeling unwell — our stomachs and intestines hurt, and we’re constantly running to the bathroom. Our mom’s vacation has been ruined. I do not recommend this place!
ADDED ‼️
We didn’t take anything to go (if we had left a good impression, you would have remembered this detail too — meaning we didn’t store or deliver anything home in poor conditions). It’s true that we ordered 2 sea urchins, but if you noticed, we left the cucumber tray — because we shared the urchins among three people. You only served 2, not 3. We checked the time we ordered the Uber (it was at 8:52 PM), and we didn’t delay you even for a minute (I have a screenshot as proof). Your idea of cleanliness is reflected in the waiter’s apron. We didn’t mention the higher price (just as we didn’t bring up the cost of the medication we had to take). We do understand business management — but a comment like that from you...
Read moreMy husband and I have always loved their sushi, but unfortunately our last order ruined our date night as we ended up in the emergency room.
My husband was eating the Kamikaze roll with eel when he suddenly started coughing. Three thick pieces of fish bone had gotten caught in the back of his throat, one on the side of his cheek, one on his uvula, and the other in his tonsil. This caused him to want to puke as it kept poking him in the throat. After puking, coughing and chugging lots of water, he was able to get two of the bones out. But there was still the last one stuck in the back of his throat, where the tonsil is. By this point my husband was bleeding in the mouth. I tried to get the bone out for him but it only caused him to gag. We decided to go to the ER to get help. luckily they were able to remove it without much wait time.
Tenka sushi, please be extra careful when preparing your sushi’s. Most people do not expect to find fish bones when they eat sushi rolls so the risk of choking and getting injured is high. Please do better in the future so no one else ever has to go through the miserable night my...
Read moreProbably one of the best sushi’s that I have tasted yet. When you eat them, you can feel how they use fresh and quality ingredients. Outstanding! Plus, even if I ordered to take out, the presentation is very nice! I also ordered some appetizers and was surprised by how it was good looking and close to the pictures on the website. Aditionally, they have an extremely impeccable service. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Don’t look further. Only downside, was the fact that my Takoyakis were still a little uncooked inside, but don’t blame them since I ordered last minute and they prepared everything super quick, so I could get home on time before curbfew (nice gesture). They could also improve the Takoyaki by being a little more generous with the octopus portion inside. Other than that, PERFECT! 🤩👌🏼 You must...
