Read morePlace is like a common budget saving canteens. We were greeted by the person from the counter and a waiter ushered us to the dining table with no greetings. He left the menu on the table without any word. By the time we are ready to order we needed to grab the server to assist us and asked the counter how to order since no one explained how the things go. I would like to have a plate of shrimps combo 32 and asked if there is a combo similar to it that we can also avail a soup and a spring roll. The waiter suggested a combo meal that later I was so surprised to have cause I wanted a shrimp meal. So when my order came it was a rice with 2 pcs of chicken meat, a beef steak, a piece of spring roll and a stick of 2 pcs of shrimps elongated on the stick to look big with some diced vegetables at both ends. The accompaniment soup served just warm and messy as if it was carried all along the table harshly pouring the liquid on all sides of the bowl. I took a spoonful of soup on my partner's soup and it was just warm. We anticipated that the soup will be hot enough to warm our stomaches during Winter season but this one is a big epic fail!
After we eat, we asked for a takeaway containers and he gave us a small container that my partner needs to get up for another soup container.
The smoothie taste-like of an overriped fruit with lack of sweetness and milk in it. The food overall is bland and the grilled meat was too oily and looked reheated. And the food aren't served hot enough.
If your looking for a place to enjoy hot soups and fresh meals, this aren't the place. We have been in a better Vietnamese restaurant than this somewhere along the côte des neiges area and...

I don’t say this lightly: PHO MC is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever endured. This place is the perfect storm of everything that could possibly go wrong in a restaurant—overrated, overpriced, unsanitary, and utterly disgraceful.
First, the atmosphere. Imagine a flea market that got hit by a hurricane, then left to rot in the sun. That’s PHO MC. It’s loud, chaotic, and dirty. The chairs wobble, the tables are sticky, and the decor looks like it was looted from a clearance bin at a dollar store. The bathroom? It smells like raw sewage pumped straight from the bowels of an industrial zone in China. It’s a biohazard, and honestly, I should have turned around and walked out right then.
But no, I stayed. And I regretted it.
The pho—if you can even call it that—was a crime against soup. The broth tasted like it had been slow-cooked with garbage and regret. There was an indescribable flavor in it that made me question if something had died in the pot. The meat was dry, rubbery, and suspiciously gray. The noodles were soggy, limp, and had the texture of wet cardboard. Every bite felt like a gamble with food poisoning.
As for service, the staff treated us like an inconvenience. Orders were wrong, water never came, and trying to get anyone’s attention was like yelling into a black hole. It felt like they resented the fact that customers even showed up.
I cannot stress this enough: Avoid PHO MC at all costs. It is a culinary disaster, a public health warning in disguise, and a complete waste of time and money. You’d get a better meal in a gas...
