Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Burlington

My favourite place in Mapleview the mall was The chopped leaf. After numerous issues ( I’m a regular 2-3xwk ) I’m done. Yesterday7/3/22 I ordered my usual sandwich brought it back to my place of work sat down to eat and discovered the dip was missing. Super annoying but it makes the sandwich so I walked back up asked for the dip and was told that they didn’t have any. That is something that I should be told BEFORE I pay my money. I wouldn’t of ordered the sandwich that day. The girl that was working said sorry and offered a different dip. Which I took and pointed out how filthy the counter was where she placed it down. Her response was that’s not my problem. Customer service just went home 90 down to zero in an instant. Because your counter where you’re serving food is 100% your responsibility. I’ve asked for a manager2x and I’ve been given no clear definition that one exists just that she’s left and they have no idea when she’ll be back whether it’s today tomorrow or later this week I would preferred to have just spoken directly to the manager but now you’re ratings have been affected as a teaching moment for your weekend staff l. 99% of the issues I ever have are always on...

Ordered a bbq chicken quesadilla with steak instead of chicken; had it once before and enjoyed it. Much to my chagrin, the teenagers left to run this location forgot both the salsa and the ranch for said quesadilla (this was a to-go order) and barely filled the thing with any toppings. I pulled open an entire section to find nothing inside but a tomato! A complete joke and total waste of money for something a child could make better. Won't be going back to this WHIZ PALACE!!!!

The staff were incredible above all else. I have worked in Mapleview for over a decade, and experienced the different owners and teams. I asked if they had a kids size portion of something without meat or dairy. They immediately asked if I was vegan, and then told me what ingrients they could put together and make something delicious for me - kids sized. I hadn't even asked for that or if it was possible. Not only did they have the thought and courtesy to this, I wasn't treated as a burden for asking the initial.question. So amazing the genuine care this team...
