Christy's Gourmet Gifts — Restaurant in Burlington

The store is easily accessible as it's located in a small light-industrial plaza close to the QEW. Did not have issues finding parking on the weekend (as other businesses at the plaza seem mostly Monday-Friday). Considering the relatively small storefront area, they maintain a large selection of goods, including some other local made goodies from other artisans (Mitchell's soups and Toronto Popcorn!). Their chocolate is good, their toffee products are great - but I feel the hidden treasure is their SHORTBREAD. I grew up with a grandma who was very particular about the shortbread she made and as a result it's difficult to find cookies that meet the same criteria. Family run place is probably the best place to get your gifts for any occasion. They also have some great goodies for kids and some really yummy things for us adults. When you walk in you’re automatically in heaven with the scent of chocolate and caramel. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now since our first addiction and the owners are very friendly and love what they do and it shows when you take a look at the creations they’ve come up with. One thing - chocolate toffee biscuits... The best of the best of the best! Every time any of my friends visit this store - they are getting me some of this delicious dessert. You literally cannot stop as it is so delicious - flavors and textures are chosen so perfectly.

Yesterday I had a chance to stop by myself and, you know, it is a tiny shop, but filled with greatest gifts and chocolate choices. After all - its not about the size, but about the quality and the taste.
