Admiral Inn — Hotel in Burlington

I have been coming to this hotel for years They recently hired somebody new for the night shift, African Man. As soon as he got on the Night Shift he was trying to get me out of the hotel after me being there for five days straight. So essentially, it’s my word against his. I don’t know why this man had it out for me, but when he got on shift, I actually wasn’t even in my hotel room. I was at Tim Hortons down the street and then when I came back into my room, the phone was ringing as soon as I walked in, and he was telling me that I needed to check myself and I needed to leave And I was telling him I haven’t even done anything wrong I just got into my hotel room so then he calls the police. I’ve lost my deposit and I’m not allowed back at this hotel. After being a loyal customer of five years I’ve never had any problem like this before it’s only when this guy started working. Crazy how everybody else in the hotel just doesn’t even want to hear what I have to say after five years.

Not to mention, they could easily check the hotel cameras, and see how he tried to break into my room, he was aggressive towards me , he spoke to me very unprofessional and rude , they can clearly see I left the room very neat and tidy, despite how I was treated last night and they still don’t care what I have to say.

Ps police even tried to reason with the guy to get my deposit back because they could see how he was behaving.

Don’t believe all the positive reviews. Every time we came we noticed the staff verbally abusing customers and filthy rooms and carpets smelled bad. I have stayed here twice and witnessed front desk yelling at customers, from the cleaners to the breakfast lady, who yelled at 3 British people, a father and 2 sons here in Canada for a tournament. Really nice family that got screamed at for taking an extra piece of bread at breakfast to them getting yelled at upon checking out because of their lost watch. To think the staff could have been more sympathetic. They just told them to leave and leave early. This is not a family friendly place. They are clearly discriminatory and extremely rude. To top that off, I booked there a few weeks ago, when I drove from over a hour away, the man at the front desk told me my Reservation was CANCELLED. How do you book online only to get there and them denying you a stay for No reason. I mean I successfully booked and checked out here before. I guess cheap hotel = cheap service. No reason why, they just cancelled my reservation. I ended up down the street at the Comfort Inn, which were more than hospitable, and kind, with a super breakfast and much cleaner. If the staff or ownership wish to respond to this with more negativity then I can share the video of me being denied and cancelled at their hotel for No Reason. Stay clear of this hotel as they...

So we arrived late after working and driving for 40 hours, just needed sleep. Get in the room, 1st reaction: oh this room hasnt been cleaned, the rug is clearly not vacuumed, ok move on no big deal, but the BATHROOM OMG covered in long black hair, floor, toilet, bath what!!! Too tired, need sleep. ( I have very short grey hair and my husband is 80% bald with a brush cut) The next day I meet Anna, the maintenance manager she called herself; I discreatly tell her about it, she asks if we want the room cleaned now! After I'm in, after my toiletries and stuff are all around I say, no thats ok. (Really, If you cant bother to clean it before, stay away from my stuff now.) We needed to get back to work, put a DO NOT DISTURB sign and head out early, come back super late. Come back and the beds are made!!! Nothing else is done. So they entered without permission and made up beds! The next morning, again discreatly advised Anna that we were leaving and she should check the room. Her reply now "oh you've been in there for 2 nights now, that's your mess, not the previous client". WHAT! I honestly tried to be quite polite and civil and this is what I get!!
