Extremely Disappointed: Incorrect Toppings Ruined My Veggie Pizza Experience
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Domino's that compelled me to share my frustration and warn fellow veggie lovers about the potential mishaps that can occur. As a vegetarian, I ordered a pizza with exclusively veggie toppings, looking forward to a satisfying meal. However, upon opening the pizza box at home, I was shocked to find chicken toppings on my supposedly veggie pizza.
First and foremost, this mistake completely goes against my dietary preferences and restrictions. It's disheartening to have my trust in Domino's shattered when they failed to adhere to such a basic and explicit request. Whether due to negligence or lack of attention to detail, this error left me feeling disgusted and betrayed.
Furthermore, the fact that this mistake happened at all raises concerns about the overall quality control and food preparation processes in place at Domino's. It's essential for any reputable pizza establishment to pay careful attention to customer requests, especially when it involves dietary restrictions or preferences. Sadly, in this instance, Domino's failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
What exacerbates the disappointment is the inconvenience caused by this oversight. I had to go through the trouble of returning to the store, wasting time and effort, just to rectify their mistake. This experience not only left a sour taste in my mouth, but it also wasted my valuable time, making it even more frustrating.
I believe it is crucial for restaurants like Domino's to take customer requests seriously and ensure their orders are accurate and respectful of individual dietary choices. As a vegetarian, it is particularly disheartening to have a trusted pizza chain disregard my preferences and serve me meat, completely ruining my meal and leaving me feeling disrespected as a customer.
I sincerely hope Domino's addresses this issue promptly and implements measures to prevent such mistakes from happening in the future. Until then, I cannot recommend Domino's to my fellow vegetarians or anyone seeking a reliable, customer-oriented...
Read moreI would usually never write a review about a fast-food place but I feel like I should let people know about a situation I encountered at this location. This has nothing to do with the pizza, which I personally find is great value.
I went to Domino's on September 23rd to grab a walk out special and a few other things, was given the total, and I paid. After paying I realized there must have been a mistake because I was charged approx. $4 more than I was supposed to be ($27 instead of the $23 I should have been). I figured it was an honest mistake.
I brought this up with the person working and I was told that the prices on the digital board "hadn't been updated because of Covid" (??) and the prices were different in the system. I've been to Domino's many times this year (a different location) and they didn't have the issue of an out-of-date digital board.
I had to argue to get my money back and even after he acknowledged the issue he still tried to short-change me, so I had to have him add up the totals manually. Since receipts aren't itemized it's really up to you to add up your own bill to ensure you're being charged the correct amount.
Now I know it's only $4 but this is really about the principle. We're already dealing with high inflation as it is. It's unacceptable for companies to add extra charges to our bills without explaining what they are and that's especially true when the price is listed for the product being purchased. This location clearly knows there's a problem because they had the Covid excuse ready as soon as I questioned the price.
Just something I thought everyone should...
Read moreI'm still shaken as I write this review. Last night, I ordered a pizza from Dominos at walkers, excited to indulge in a delicious meal. But what I got was a culinary nightmare.
As I took a bite of my pizza, I felt something hard and wiry lodged in my throat. I started to choke and panic set in. Luckily, I managed to dislodge the object, but my relief was short-lived. When I looked at the pizza, I was horrified to see a brush bristle embedded in the cheese.
I couldn't believe it. A brush bristle! In my pizza! It's a choking hazard, a health risk, and a clear indication of the restaurant's lack of attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Needless to say, I did not finish my pizza. In fact, I didn't even take another bite. I was too disgusted and traumatized by the experience.
To the management of Dominos at the walkers line location, I demand to know how this happened. How did a brush bristle end up in my pizza? What kind of quality control do you have in place? And what are you going to do to ensure that this never happens again?
To potential customers, I warn you: stay away from this location. The risk of choking on a foreign object is not worth the convenience of a quick pizza dinner.
I will never set foot in this pizza place again, and I hope that this review will serve as a...
