I recently had the pleasure of dining at this here Jack Astor's, and let me tell you, it was an experience that tickled my taste buds, got me to grin from ear to ear, and even at some points rolling on the floor with severe hilarity. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the radiant smile of our dear server Chris . Now, I must confess to you...when she said her name was 'Chris' I was taken back in an aghast with that name I expected a strapping young lad with biceps bigger than my own ego, but lo and behold, Chris turned out to be the reigning queen of the culinary realm.
Not only did Chris flawlessly navigate through the menu like an experienced captain steering a gourmet ship of ecstasy & pleasure, but her recommendations were pure gold. She guided us through a gastronomic journey that left us in a state of euphoria. Each dish was a masterpiece, plated with the precision of a Gordon Ramsey approved chef and seasoned with just the right amount of passion.
But it wasn't just the food that had us in what could only be described as a joyful dopamine rush of culture; it was Chris herself. With her quick service, wit & infectious charm, she turned a regular dining experience into what I believe to be the performance of a life time. She had us laughing and enjoying ourselves so much, we nearly spat out all our meals with such jubilation!
So, if you're looking for a dining experience that's not only delicious but also downright enchanting, look no further than the Burlington Jack Astor's aswell as the one and only...Chris. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. In fact, you might just not only leave with a full belly, and a new outlook on life...but also, a new mentor.
Five stars all the way! top drawer Chris, top drawer...

Read moreThe only reason this place got two stars is because we had outstanding service by our server CAT.
Jack Astors used to be a great place. Much has changed over the years. The prices are outrageous for the food quality and especially the portions.
The bow tie Chicken pasta used to be amazing. Now it's $25 for about 70g of pasta with. Bland sauce in a shallow bowl with chicken on it. There's no sprinkled Asiago... it's parmesan.
We ordered nachos to start. They were disgusting and incredibly salty. The server told us that the chips come naturally salty but she did take them back and get us better ones. The first batch was as if someone emptied a bag of salt in it, even our kids couldn't stomach it.
My chicken sandwich was ok, not great, no better than a mcChickem to be honest.
$11.50 for a Stella Beer.
This place has gone downhill, and no wonder it's not busy. The franchise has overpriced mediocre food and cut portions, and it's just not worth it. If it was good quality, it would e worth the new pricing. But at this quality and pricing, save your money go somewhere worth your money.
Again, Cat was Ana amazing server and the only positive from...
Read moreI have been to this location several times, and I have been disappointed with the food quality on more than one occasion. I think it’s mid range as far as meals are concerned. Nothing has made me say, wow that was great, which I have actually had at different locations of Jack Astors. There seems to be a disconnect between franchises. Example, at other locations, the food seems to be more home made, and fresh. At this location it tasted more reheated. I had the fajitas, and the chicken was chewy, and not fresh. Even the toppings seemed like they were out of a ready made bag. At other locations, completely different, even down to the fresh chopped lettuce and fresh shredded cheese, you can tell, not out of a bag. Service was ok. Our waitress disappeared for 40 minutes while we were eating, guess it was her lunchtime. So we didn’t get extra drinks or even napkins. Unfortunately I think the experience was bare minimum. So I likely won’t be back. There is definitely a stark difference in quality between the same franchise and I see this now. I’ll stick with my top choice which...
