This is easily the best place to get ice cream in Burlington. Their gelato is absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to go back. The gelato had a perfect smooth consistency with no iciness. I had their Sweet Banana Pie gelato and it tasted like real bananas, with none of the artificial aftertaste that some ice creameries struggle with when creating fruit flavours. Their flavours rotate biweekly and an up-to-date listing of available scoops & pints can be found on their Instagram, @nanisgelatoburlington. I found the scoops to be super generous in size with very fair pricing.
The man working the front counter is so incredibly kind and happy to answer questions. He was a pleasure to chat with.
The plaza that is home to Nani’s is wheelchair accessible and Nani’s has some wheelchair accessible seating within the store itself. The front counter is also low enough that many folks in a wheelchair will be able to easily use the POS.

The owner is very friendly and he patiently described different flavors and helped us choose. And of course you can taste a few flavors before you make up your mind. Other staff are very f’kind and friendly and provide great customer service. They change their menu every other week and include seasonal flavors. You can buy scooped gelato or in boxes to take home with you.

We also tried “Ontario (Pop) Corn”, “Lychee Passion Fruit”, “Peaches & Cream” and “Vietnamese Coffee”. I had never thought Pop Corn gelato would be delicious, but to my surprise, it really was! We also tried their soft serve “Salted Caramel” in a waffle cone and “Soft Serve Vanilla Bean + Pistachio Cream”. Everything was...

There was a new guy serving, and right from the start it felt off. The sample sizes he gave were so tiny you could barely get a taste not helpful when you’re trying to decide between flavours.
Then, when I ordered my cone, the scoop was half the size of what I usually get here. It honestly felt stingy, especially as a regular customer who knows what the standard serving usually is.
Please don’t let the quality of service drop like this consistency matters, especially when you’ve built up a loyal customer base. I really hope this was a one-off, because I do love coming here, but today...
