Philthy Philly's Burlington — Restaurant in Burlington

We came here because of their BOGO promotion and we were pleasantly surprised. I read some of the negative reviews especially pertaining to delivered food. Food is never good delivered and you'd think people would get used to it and just accept it, that's just the way delivered food is. Yes some food travels better but not this kind of food. We made it a point to dine in and the food was great. Everything was made to order so it was very fresh and piping hot. Poutine had plenty of cheese curds and lots of gravy and the fries maintained their crisp, bun pillowy, steak and accompanied veggies were cooked just the way I liked it and everything was seasoned well. Guys working the cash and grill were very patient for us noobs. Definitely recommend and a great addition to the restaurant scene in South...

This place just doesn't get it. Take out is a soggy mess and simply packaging this differently would probably solve the problem for the most part. You can't put a steamy Philly into a foil wrapper and not expect to be completely soggy by the time you open it.

Value for money is lacking here. For over $19, the amount of food doesn't match the expectation. I suspect shrinkflation is happening here as every time I go, I seem to get less and less steak.

Parking is a bit of pain too as there are only 5 spots out front and it's shared with at least one other restaurant. Have to park out back most of the time and walk around the entire building to get to the front entrance.

Ordered a late night dinner after work (Phil Up small cheese steak sandwich and poutine), my friend got the deep fried cheese curds and Skor puff daddy’s. Let me tell you WE BARELY MADE IT TO THE CAR WITH OUR FOOD! Soooooooo GOOOOD! We sat in the car and devoured our food haha didn’t even wanna drive home first. Amazing spice on the fries, the gravy is incredible, cheese curds were extremely fresh (and that’s coming from a Québécois), meat was juicy and tender. Nothing but amazing things to say about this place and we just “happened” to be passing by and wanted to try it...
