Scaddabush is a restaurant I could recommend to vegetarians and non-vegetarians (not vegans as much however)! I may be incorrect, but the food at Scaddabush is so authentic! I am very impressed with the fact that all the pasta/pizza doughs, sauces, etc. are made by hand in the restaurant which that is a sign of high quality, and though the all the food is very buttery/cheesy, homemade always makes it healthier. We ordered the 3-Cheese Truffle Charity Bread as a starter, which did not disappoint since it was very cheesy as described. We then ordered a Margherita Pizza in Kids Size which decreased the price, and the pizza had one of the best crusts we've ever tried, and the overall dish was fresh! We ordered the Pesto Pollo Penne with the chicken removed, and it was okay. Our favorite, however, was the scrumptious Zucca Ravioli with the unique flavors and textures which perfectly combined! It was absolutely delicious! The service at Scaddabush is very good. We were instantly taken to our table, offered drinks, and introduced to our very kind waitress who attended to our every need. Our food arrived within 10-15 minutes of ordering, and tasted as if it was freshly made! The cost of everything is definitely above average, but it is reasonable since the food is all handmade and of such good quality. While the portions of all our food was decent, the Zucca Ravioli's portion size was fairly small, and we only received about 6-7 pieces of ravioli with a lot of sauce. The restaurant's interior as well as exterior is beautiful, with a rustic, elegant finish! It is also very clean and sanitary, including the bathrooms, utensils/dishes, seats and chairs. There is outdoor dining, indoor dining, a bar, and a place where you can see the food being prepared, and the whole restaurant is spacious and well laid out. At the end of the day, I definitely look forward to revisiting this restaurant, and trying more dishes!

This wasn’t my first experience at Scaddabush, and it won’t be my last. My first time at this location I was welcomed by the owner who was serving sample slices of the margarita pizza for waiting guests! I absolutely loved that and so did the others!! The restaurant is located by the corner of Fairview st. & Guelph Line. In my opinion, Scaddabush is one of the top franchise restaurants in the area I’d you like Italian food and a rustic ambiance. I have tried many items from the menu from specious visits and the cheese dishes are fabulous. The cheese is buffalo mozzarella and made in house. Today I had the Burrata in olive oil with fig jam, prosciutto, flake salt and fluffy/crispy toast. Doesn’t disappoint, the jam is both sweet and savoury and the flake salt is perfect. We also had the bruschetta, which had tomatoes, basil, cheese and balsamic reduction overtop. Flavours work well and the bread held its integrity. For our main we had the Panzanela Salad; a large salad with a confederate dressing, olive tapenade, large croutons and a large ball of buffalo mozzarella! Sooo good, must try!! I accidentally ate it before I can get a photo lol, next time. UPDATE I can back for some more and got a photo of the Panzanella Salad and we also had the the Bomba fresh mozzarella. Delicious and probably my favourite of the fresh mozzarella dishes

First time here, took the wife out for her Birthday. We arrived and were seated right away, our Waitress was attentive but I found myself looking for her a few times throughout dinner which is a bit of a let down. Stated with the cheese bread (fresh mozzarella) and it was very disappointing. They are apparently known for their fresh Mozz! It was almost tasteless, and the bread had hardly any seasoning. I come from an Italian background and have the love for fresh bread. It just didn’t even come close to real Italian fresh bread that I’m used to. Dinner was the chicken and shrimp pasta and it was very tasty. No complaints there at all. Dessert, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The chocolate was so rich we could hardly eat it. The vanilla was like birthday cake but that’s not vanilla? If that makes sense. When making our reservation there was a spot for extra notes or whatever and I took the time to write in that it was my wife’s Birthday, no one mentioned it at all. The “little things” I guess… Overall the place is nice and has potential, they just need to get their bread game in order to cater to us real Italians.

Honestly, we went to Scaddabush in Burlington because I had a $20 off coupon, with low expectations. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised! This location was great, from service to food.Joe, our server, was engaging and friendly, I could see he was busy serving a large table next to us, but he was still pleasant and checked in on us. Started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and well presented, followed by a linguini pasta dish, again, was well presented and flavourful but I will warn you, the portions are very large, I couldn’t finish mine, but it was tasty! The ravioli stuffed with butternut squash was well made, with a great fresh taste, again a decent portion that will fill most. Pictures say it all For dessert we had a lemon sorbet sundae that was very refreshing and I’m sure would be great on the patio on a hot summer day! This dinner was very reasonably priced even without the “coupon” Will definitely come back again for Italian food…. The pizzas looked fantastic! Bring your appetite!

I like this restaurant. The decor, the service, the ambiance (although music can get a little too loud sometimes) is all really good, but what I think is great here is the food! We had such a fantastic dinner here! Appetizers are hard to choose because they are always so great and the mains were fantastic! My go-to is the gnocchi and chicken. What a great combo! The creamy sauce with mushrooms and peas brings the whole thing together wonderfully! Everyone else ordered different things and all were very happy with their choices. We also ordered sides of the fries just to have on the table for everyone to pick at. On another note other than food, we really liked the plates with the different designs on them. We thought they were cute, fun, and a nice little difference other than just all white same plates. Overall it was a great experience with awesome food. We will definitely consider this location next time we're in the area and want to have some real good Italian food!

3.5 stars really. The service was a tad slow. We waited 45 minutes after being seated to get our apps (probably waited like 25 for the charity bread and a salad) but our server was super friendly. The charity bread was the most amazing thing I've ever eaten. The ceasar salad was a tad watery and lacked flavor. I had the chicken Parm. LOVED the chicken and the sauce on the pasta (best parm i have ever had) ( I got red sauce instead of alfredo) and while I know the pasta is fresh, I did not enjoy the fettuccine. It was gummy and super starchy and a lot of it was stuck together. Could be because it was home made? I'm not entirely sure. My partner had the seafood spaghetti and enjoyed it. The bill was $95 plus tip. Isn't terrible but I've had a better overall dinner elsewhere. I'd nix the pops (4 dollars each with no refills offered) and the salad. And change my pasta type for a more enjoyable meal.
