Love this place! Great value, yummy flavours.

I went on a Saturday around 11am, only 2 other tables there. Spacious and clean interior, I like the bright orange and grey scheme. The rice is unlimited and self serve, but the waiters were very attentive and got us rice, and refilled our tea. The free tea is quite good too. Located on the outside of Crystal Mall (it’s not in the food court).

Got a small ‘Laotan Snakehead Fish’ soup ($21.95) for lunch to share between mum and I. It comes with two toppings, and I picked black woodear mushroom and enoki mushrooms (some other options are beancurd sheets cabbage, tofu, vermicelli, broccoli and lettuce). Spice level was one spicy chili on the menu, and it had a strong kick. I think this was the sweet spot for me, and I can’t do any spicier (for reference I love shin ramen, it’s perfect, and I can eat a tad spicier than that too). It had up to 4 spicy chili indictors, and I think I’d start crying at that point. It’s topped with peppercorn

Pretty impressed with the portions, lots of soup, with very fragrant oil & chilies on top. Large chunks of tender fish, and loads of sauerkraut. Good portion of the toppings too.

I’d love to get a large portion to-go next time, so I can use the flavourful leftover soup and make some noodles for an extra...

Yesterday we went here for dinner for the first time and we were impressed with the food and the service. Normally going to Chinese Restaurant we don't expect great customer service but at this restaurant all the servers were very courteous and friendly. Throughout the dinner experience servers will constantly check on us to see how is the food and offer additional rice if needed it. The staff are amazing.

The food was delicious we ordered the Laotan Snake head combo comes with a drink and deep fried pork. The taste of the broth was very flavourful and had a kick of spice. The fish was very fresh with the perfect tenderness. The drink we had was Orange Crush was very refreshing and not too sweet which was perfect. The bill was $45 with two drinks and combo including tips and tax.

Overall experience I will rate 10/10 for service because in this type of restaurant and the level of warm service is amazing. Food definitely 10/10 because is delicious and the price is decent will definitely go back...

I've always loved coming here and have always brought new friends and family here for your high quality of food and customer service. As usual, I brought a new customer here again at around 11:15 am, January 9th and she was thoroughly impressed like everyone I've ever introduced this place to.

Everything was perfect until at the very end, we were approached by our waitress asking if we were dissatisfied with anything because we didn't tip anything.

First of all, we did tip. Second of all, even if we didn't, it is not your place to demand or inquire about it.

Tipping is O P T I O N A L. It is a privilege, not a right. I always tip and by God the quickest way to make me regret tipping is demanding for bloody tips and complaining that "it wasn't enough".

Your business provided us a splendid meal with amazing value and quality as per usual and thoroughly ruined it at the end with this blatant unprofessional behaviour. This is no longer a place I will visit nor introduce any new customers to from this...
