Expensive but apart from food, very rude customer service and the guy servicing isn't respectful and cooperating at all especially while you are visiting the restaurant as an Uber delivery driver for pickups! Would never recommend to anyone if they want to have a good experience dining or Uber pickups.
Reply to response: I have been a dine-in customer as well prior to my Uber Eats experience but never been satisfied with the service. Also, in terms of UberEATS driver experience, I simply asked the restaurant staff to give a review as a lot of restaurant folks do not know that they have an option to give a rating.
To correct your fact and be accurate and truthful which I always am, I never made a call to your restaurant (especially with what you mention as any passing abusive comments) rather I came back inside as I had just stepped outside the store. I simply checked with the staff, the reason for their displeasant experience with me and he mentioned that he didn't see a bag but when I showed him and mentioned that I have fixed it with my e-bike to make it stiff, he mentioned rudely that he cannot change it now! I am sorry but I have worked with many businesses as a consultant or in other capacities but never really seen this kind of behavior and I do not mean any kind of racist behavior or so, but simply un-kind behavior towards every human.
Also, please just take it as a feedback and try to improve on the same. I do not have any other intentions other than this from this review. Hope you understand and know the hard work that delivery drivers do every day to get your food to your customers in time and actually appreciate them a bit as your staff mentioned that he never gives a review to anyone whether good or bad and just gave it because I asked for...
Read moreThis is the worst Thai food I've ever had in my entire life. Though I'm not Thai myself, I've tried numerous Thai food in Thailand as well as Hong Kong before experiencing it in Vancouver.
The food in this restaurant is the farest u can imagine from authenticity, let alone tasty. The chef merely mix ingredients with asian sauces straight out from the bottles e.g. sweet and chili sauce in pad thai, sriracha in tong yum etc. resulting in an overbearing single flavor which is either too spicy, too salty or too sweet. I can almost tell the brand of the bottled sauces they used.
Service was bad too, as we simply requested to have no chili in the pad thai for our kids, and was told that cannot be done rudely. (We later figured out why as they of course couldn't singled out the chili from the mixed bottled sauce)
I can taste the perfunctory attitude of the chef in all dishes being served, which only suggests one thing, that is the chef and the owner are definitely not Thai him/herself, or else they would feel embarrassed to serve such kind of cooking and call it their home food, or they would at least have the picture of their respectable King hang on the wall just like all...
Read moreI arrived at the door and waited to be seated. A server at the cashier or counter bar totally ignored me or did not pay attention to the customers at the door. I had been waiting for a while and he still did not come to the front. My friend finally arrived and both of us walked to the server and asked to be seated by ourselves. Not good.... right at the beginning of a meal.
We looked at the menu. It had a wide variety of food. We picked a pad Thai with shrimp and pad see iw with chicken. The pad Thai tasted only okay. It was not the good pad Thai that I had at a real Thai restaurant. The pad see iw was basically rice noodles cooked with soy sauce. I had a really good pad see iw that was cooked by Thai chef. I had expectations before I tasted these two dishes. Unfortunately, they disappointed me.
The server did serve us okay during the meal. He kept refilling our water and packed the leftover for us. The pricing was okay or reasonable. However, due to the quality of food, I would recommend other Thai...
