10 out of 10!!!!!!!.
Lovely clerk was Amazing to start our experience off, she was welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of each dish, and confident on all aspects which made myself and my fiance confident in our choices.
My partner had the terriyaki beef which was perfect ( and very reminiscent of a old favorite "kojo of Japan", which was in the old lougheed mall food fair,).... fried veggies and fried noodles topped with delicious saucy terriyaki beef, and a very GOOD portion. YUM.
Now my dish....OMG ....I am a HUGE Ramen fan ( Miso ramen to be clear), and have tried a LOT of the ramen houses, and for fear of disappointment, I would typically never order ramen from a fast food type place.....BUT Nikko terriyaki proved me wrong. The chashu miso ramen was AMAZING! No shortage of love and passion put into this dish. Miso broth was perfect, meat was lean and tender, along with sprouts and corn and a few broccoli pieces. A generous portion that will fill any belly. I compare this delicious ramen to an old favorite ramen house of ours that closed down a while ago called Takano. If you've ever had Takano, then this comparison should definitely mean something to you on the quality of this miso ramen.
I will 100% be back to this piece of heaven.....Thank you Nikki...
Read moreI looked over the counter when I ordered a meal from this place. The chef rudely told me to go away and when I when I received my food, he told me again that 'he has this counter for a reason' and told me to never do it again.
I'm not sure why he has this attitude when he chose to work in a public food court, which are specifically designed to have people look at the food that you've displayed and cooked.
I ended up paying for my meal before trading lunches with my brother. I can't bring myself to eat from a food court stall where the chef doesn't wants his customers looking at the stuff that he's cooking.
Mr. Chef, if you're reading this: if you want privacy, then you should probably work behind doors instead of at a kitchen where people can easily look over the counter and see you cook. Either that or change your mindset: I only wanted to look over the counter because that's what I used to do when...
Read moreFood was ok. The cashier girl seems to be overwhelmed with her work. I asked twice for a cup of water when ordering and picking up my food. First time she said ok but didn’t get me the water(no other customer waiting), 2nd time I asked again when she came close, I got ignored. I’m sure she was just pretending didn’t hear me.
To the girl: did you noticed that there’re other customers just beside saw you were ignoring your customer for just a cup of water? I totally understand that you were busy but at least you can tell me to wait right?
Later when she was less busy I came back to her just letting her know I have asked for water twice with no response. She acted like nothing happened, and finally try to get me the water, giving the face like I own her $100.
Will not come ever again. The other sushi at the other side of food court looks...
