OPA! of Greece Lougheed Town Centre — Restaurant in Burnaby

Just ate from here today. Experience was disturbing. First a previous customer had ordered something, but one of the girls gave her the wrong order. One of the girls said they would make a new one, but then started speaking in what appeared to be Hindi. It was obvious by the body language, their fingers and eyes on her that they were annoyed and laughing about her situation. Almost made me walk away - should have. But i thought i'll order something basic so that it's easy for them. Unfortunately, i was wrong and had a disgusting case-scenario instead. The girl handling the food for some reason thought that it was acceptable to grab a very dirty cloth that had filth, residue and old oil and squeezed out lots of the dirty water and dirt from it. She did not change her gloves or anything and then started touching my food, other breads and put her hand in the all the salad. I was not in an arguing mood so i kept an eye out for what she didn't touch with the unsanitary hands and ate that. Watching this happen and the two of them not seeing any problem with it makes one question the cleanliness of this place, and if it even goes with the food safety and sanitation protocols of British Columbia. Ordered a kids meal today as it was the first time for our child (chicken skewer, rice, half pita bread and small drink) and we were patient as we were advised that the rice was not ready yet. Waited over 10 mins and got our meal. Tasted the rice and it was cold and hard. Advised the lady there and she said it’s the same rice we have served so I ask her to taste it and also advised her that the other orders were take out so customers already left. While I was advising her that the rice was undercooked she pulled out a small plate of rice from the microwave which was steaming for the next order. Obviously she knew it was under cooked but did not say sorry or anything? Look I get it as I worked in the food industry but we all work hard and expect quality for the high prices we pay but the lack of empathy, customer service and quality control really made our first and last experience here. Served RAW CHICKEN AND HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. My 1.5 year old son and I were served raw chicken and they could of cared less. When I showed them what they served they said they can make a new chicken skewer or provide a refund. I asked for a refund. He then presented me with a $10 bill when my meal was over $16. I asked where the rest of the refund was and he said I would have to return the rest of my meal to receive a full refund. So my son now was served raw chicken and because of their negligence could not finish the food he was eating. They could of cared less that they served a child raw chicken and were more concerned with keeping the $6 instead of providing good customer service and giving me a full refund from the beginning.
