Peking Restaurant is one of those old-school Chinese restaurants that harkens back to days gone by. This is a smallish restaurant and was not very busy when were here. We ordered the Pork Siu Mai ($8.95) - with a fairly yummy mushroom and pork filling, Deep Fried Squid ($12.95) - with alluring spicy salty goodness, the Halibut with Ginger and Green Onions in Maggi Sauce ($13.95) - bone-in and savory from the caramelization, the Veggie and Pork Tofu Skin Wraps in Oyster Sauce ($8.95) - a bit loosley wrapped, and the House Special Egg Foo Young ($20.95). Overall, the food was pretty good and they also have a number of lunch specials.

We order food through SKIP, so cannot comment on the service. However, the food was very poor quality and poor value. Will NEVER be ordering here again. The meat (pineapple pork) had no meat, full of bones and sinew, literally battered bone and fat. The "veggie" noodles were noodles with a few bits of veggies, by bits I mean 4 small pieces of peppers and onion, and half a piece of bok choy. This should not be called veggie noodle, it is false advertising. It was very disappointing. If I knew this, wouldnt have ordered here, +$70 feels like robbery. Save your money! Go elsewhere.

Beware of this place. Got the takeout menu through their website that I found through a google search. The menu said Dinner for 2 for $29, so I went ahead and ordered it. When I came to pick it up, the bill was $41. When I asked the lady why the price differed, she said they have a new price. She then goes online and uploads the new price list and charges me the new price. Talk about scamming people. And for the amount of food and price compared to the ones from the competitors down the road, I dont recommend this place. Its not worth it.

Came here for a spontaneous lunch date. Atmosphere and service is exactly what you’d expect from a classic chinese restaurant, not too fancy and not too dingy. The gentleman running front of house will come by and check on you, but otherwise will be chatting it up with back of house, and thats when you know you’re in a good chinese restaurant.

We ordered deep fried dumplings, hot and sour soup, a big bowl of beef brisket noodle soup, and szechuan beef friend rice.

Not a single issue with any of these dishes, aside from the noodles being slightly too overdone. The dumplings were crispy, and the rice brought back good childhood memories of eating fried rice at old favorites that didn’t make it through the years.

I am absolutely coming back...

We dined here the other night, and I have to say we left feeling incredibly happy and satisfied. The food was outstanding—everything was fresh and flavorful, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.

The service was just as impressive. Our server made us feel like honored guests in his home, greeting us warmly, chatting, and even sharing a few jokes. His friendliness and hospitality really added a personal touch to the evening.

Since we live only a few minutes away, this has quickly become my favorite Chinese restaurant. It seems they get more takeout orders than dine-in customers, but this spot definitely deserves more love. If you’re thinking of giving it a try, go for it—you...
