Came here for a spontaneous lunch date. Atmosphere and service is exactly what you’d expect from a classic chinese restaurant, not too fancy and not too dingy. The gentleman running front of house will come by and check on you, but otherwise will be chatting it up with back of house, and thats when you know you’re in a good chinese restaurant.
We ordered deep fried dumplings, hot and sour soup, a big bowl of beef brisket noodle soup, and szechuan beef friend rice.
Not a single issue with any of these dishes, aside from the noodles being slightly too overdone. The dumplings were crispy, and the rice brought back good childhood memories of eating fried rice at old favorites that didn’t make it through the years.

The service was just as impressive. Our server made us feel like honored guests in his home, greeting us warmly, chatting, and even sharing a few jokes. His friendliness and hospitality really added a personal touch to the evening.

We ordered the Pork Siu Mai ($8.95) - with a fairly yummy mushroom and pork filling, Deep Fried Squid ($12.95) - with alluring spicy salty goodness, the Halibut with Ginger and Green Onions in Maggi Sauce ($13.95) - bone-in and savory from the caramelization, the Veggie and Pork Tofu Skin Wraps in Oyster Sauce ($8.95) - a bit loosley wrapped, and the House Special Egg Foo Young ($20.95).
