I ordered a Bun Cha Ha Noi and a Bun Dau Dac Biet and here is my opinion: Bun Cha: everything is pretty good, nuoc mam is good for me but my bf thinks it's a little salty for his taste, meatball is chewy in a good way, and very warm (i like warm to piping hot food) 9.5/10 Bun Dau: pros are crunchy tofu, portion is huge, variety of toppings like what we have in Vietnam cons are mam tom is too salty and needs a lot of sugar to be added according to taste, but after that it tastes nice; lòng smells pretty bad but other innards like bao tử or tim taste good, boiled belly pork is dry (prolly being exposed outside for a while), i wish they can make bún into blocks (bún lá) so it'll be better 7/10 I will order Bun Cha next time, maybe a side of fried tofu with mam tom, not a whole dish. No comment on service (but i enjoy my alone peaceful eating time), and also no comment on the atmosphere.

🍜 super tasty Vietnamese place! ❗️Special notes: their fried chicken🍗 is 10× better than HiFive next door! It's a must order if you have enough people to share it. Their Vietnamese Coffee also tasted heavenly! Definately worth trying I've had takeout from this restaurant for many times and finally went in to try everything fresh. I loved the pho and the fresh garden rolls, they came with quality ingredients for very reasonable price! And all their regular rice and rice noodle dishes are also super tasty and fresh! It's a really amazing GEM in the North Burnaby area.

We've had good experiences dining at Pho 101. Unfortunately, we ordered take out today, (#16 Pho with rare steak/brisket/tendon/beef balls), and the noodles were completely broken up into little pieces (see attached photo), with not a single intact one to be seen. It makes me wonder if the little bits of left over noodles in their pot are strained and then compressed into a package to be served to take out customers. I understand that food shouldn't be wasted; however, those little bits of noodles should be shared amongst all customers, not just the unlucky few.

I went here for the first time yesterday to pick up my catering order. My husband & I decided to eat pho. I ordered the pho with beef balls&sliced beef. It was just okay. I think the broth needed more flavour. A good pho broth allows the chicken with the bones to steep for at least two - three days to allow all the flavor to absorb in the broth. I have had better pho so they just need to adjust it a bit with more spices too. I was also expecting to have Thai basil but they only gave bean sprouts & lemon instead of lime. We ordered the box of banh khot t & it was our first time.i loved how the edges were crispy! It came with the veggies & fish sauce & again honestly it lacked flavor!! I don't mean saltiness it just lacked flavor but I loved the texture of it! I would order it again & maybe tweak it myself somehow! Okay the last thing I ordered is the prawn salad roll, basic right? It should all be in the peanut sauce they give you, only again the sauce had no flavor at all! I've made that sauce before & believe me it never tasted anything close to it! It tasted like diluted water with just a brown coloring! The sauces is what makes the salad roll yummy & theirs was not . I'm just being honest. I've eaten in a lot of different types of restaurants especially Vietnamese. I do love their presentation of their catered boxes! I will come back to taste the other food on the menu but for now I do recommend them to review the flavors of the...

Will Never Stop Loving This Restaurant!! Every meal I try tastes better and better. From Pho to Bun, Bun Bo Hue to Rice plates, and every other option I've tried or seen; all of it is mouth watering! They deserve so so so much more business than they get, so please bring the family, try the food, and discover why they've the right to have 101 in their name; because the food will Teach you something. They're kind, accommodating, the atmosphere is lovely, but the food here is Where It's At. They do offer delivery and takeout, though I will advise against getting their Pho or other soups or deserts to go, as it truly does not do the meals justice. Their vermicelli, rice plates, and ESPECIALLY their Spring Rolls, Salad rolls, and sandwiches however? Absolutely order them to go, as they'll satisfy Every time. But if you do get the chance to go in, TRY THE PHO! It's not for everyone, but if you like Pho, you'll Love Pho101. And if you like a spicy dish? Try the Bun Bo Hue; deliciously spicy with a delicate presentation and a truly earth-shattering authenticity. I've eaten their Bun Bo Hue 22 days in a row at one point and found something new to appreciate Each Time. Give them your love, your money, and support! They deserve it. Family run and ran with love, Pho101 will help you learn the true meaning of Authentic. And if you tell them Tristan sent you, your meals will be made with even more love. (If that's...

Never again. We used to eat at this restaurant regularly. Although I was always a bit bothered by the fact the restaurant wasn't particularly clean, it was conveniently located and the food was decent. Our last order, however, was troubling. We got home with our order and the lettuce was black around the edges. It was clearly old and rotten.

We called to complain thinking they would say "sorry, bring it in so we can see it." Obviously we misjudged their interest in customer service and food quality because after consulting with the cook - and not even seeing our food - the waitress advised us that we were wrong and that the kitchen said our food was "fine"...that it will wilt from the heat of the meat placed on top.

I tried to explain that the black lettuce was not near the hot food and it was perfectly crisp except for the black, rotten edges. Food science is a hobby of mine so I think I can tell the difference between hot, wilted lettuce and old, rotten lettuce (actually I think pretty much anyone could tell the difference). I explained that I would be happy to bring it in for them to see. Once again, without asking us to bring it back or even look at the food, she told us that the kitchen said our food was "fine".

So "fine" clearly means "we don't care." So clearly I will be taking my money elsewhere. There are plenty of Pho shops with better food and cleaner facility in the...
