I recently visited a Subway location ok Canada Way and my overall experience left me quite disappointed, resulting in a rating of just two stars. While the cleanliness of the restaurant was acceptable, the quality of the food fell far below my expectations. The service, on the other hand, was just satisfactory.
My biggest concern centered around the food itself, particularly the tomatoes and lettuce. The tomatoes, to my dismay, appeared distressingly old and unappetizing. Seeking a fresher alternative, I politely requested the sandwich maker to provide me with tomatoes from the middle rather than the ends. To my surprise, her response was an outright refusal, leaving me quite surprised..
In light of this experience, I believe that this particular Subway location could greatly benefit from improvements in their food quality. They definitely use ‘yesterdays’ food. It is disheartening to encounter such lackluster ingredients, especially when fresh produce is a vital component of a satisfying #SUBWAY sandwich. Read moreI went for a walk to pick up some Subway yesterday and this is what I experienced.
I walked in, greeted the employee to get her attention and as I had already begun my order, I get cut off with something along the lines of "Welcome to subway how may I take your order". So I repeated myself. I ended up repeating cold cuts 3 times to her and when she pointed at something sliced I instinctively nodded.
So far a slightly annoying interaction in my mind, but that won't affect my meal. That was until she sneezed by the vegetables. I'm not sure why I didn't walk out the store at that point, I should've. After trying to disregard what I witnessed, I tell her I wanted all veggies and she began to sound annoyed. Then she proceeded to ask me if it was for to go, which I replied yes to but she never bags the sandwich. When I asked for a bag, she tossed it across the counter instead of helping.
When I arrived at home I was excited because I haven't had Subway in a really long time. I take a bite and immediately notice no pickles or banana peppers, my favorite ingredients in a sandwich. So I open it up to confirm and that's when I realized I ended up with Italian b.m.t instead...
Read moreI work at Burnaby Emergency so I order online from here and quickly dash out to pick it up. So far 3/3 times I've ordered a salad with dressing on the side and it has never come on the side. Tonight my salad did not come with bacon or rice, as ordered as an extra charge that I paid. I went back inside and let the man working know, and he continued to help the customers in line. I did not have time to stay and get those items, I had to go back to work. I understand people make mistakes, but it's frustrating when by the time I am able to even eat my meal...it is wrong and I wasted my whole break to get there and come back. Hopefully I at least get reimbursed. Other than that, staff is friendly and I get my food on time. It just is not what I wanted/ordered. I will continue to order there if I get...
