Tera's Bean is a cozy cafe that's closeby to The Amazing Brentwood. They serve a variety of hot beverages and desserts including creme brulee, cheesecakes, tiramisu, macarons and choux cream puffs. There were a large number of cheesecakes behind the counter, so it seems like the cheesecakes are their specialty. While I love cheesecake, I was feeling extraordinarily full already from dinner and really didn't feel as though I could fit something as heavy as cheesecake into my stomach. I opted instead for a Coffee cream puff and a Peppermint Fog.
The cream puff was pretty but very much lacking in flavor. I really couldn't taste any coffee flavor in it. I enjoyed the Peppermint Fog drink though. It was a nice change of pace from the usual London Fog. The Peppermint flavor in it was the kind of peppermint flavor that you would get from steeping a bag of Peppermint tea as opposed to the kind that you might get from pouring a Peppermint extract into your drink. While very much present in the drink, it wasn't overpowering. The flavor felt nicely balanced.
Our friends ordered a slice of the cheesecake. I got to sample one small forkful of it. It was delicious and I will have to go back with an emptier stomach sometime so I can enjoy an entire slice of it!

Read moreI found this on Google and looking for a place to get a quick bite in between work. It's right off the main drag but a little confusing of where to find it in the building. The atmosphere was clean but nothing fancy. The staff were good at service but not overly outgoing. I (unfortunately) chose the bagel breakfast sandwich over one of the baked goods that looked so good. I saw a similar review of this very sandwich that it was bland, if you were a vegetarian it is extra bland removing the peppers and bacon - There is no cheese or sauce of any kind so literally you get a wilted piece of spinach and an egg that tastes too much like egg fried rice. Removing those two items, it would have been nice for the staff to let me know that it was going to be just two items in the bagel. In addition they don't let you know that they panini press it, so your bagel turns into a very concentrated piece of flatbread. Bagels are meant to be somewhat fluffy and crispy, this is not that. I also got an iced oat milk latte, which wasn't bad but wasn't great. I don't feel that the breakfast sandwich and the drink should have been $17. I doubt I will be back even if I'm...
Read moreLet me tell you about this quaint little place. Located across the street from Brentwood Mall, this cafe is quiet but nice. It has a wonderful home atmostphere that's perfect for studying or chatting!
The staff were kind and answered all of my questions and although I feel there is a small Language barrier (especially if you have an accent like me) The staff were friendly and understanding, working with me to overcome the possible barrier.
I had the Matcha Tiramisu, this soft treat was the perfect combonation of sweet but bitter. The Matcha flavor isn't overpowering and has the delicate taste I was craving.
I also had the Shaken Ice Tea which was sweet and light. (However I do reccomend you stir well because otherwise the bottom half will be very sweet). It may be a bit sweet for some people, but I found it paired well with the bitter Matcha Tiramisu!
Overall this wonderful Cafe had a gentle atmosphere with kind, dedicated staff. And although some of the sweets were priced a little high, it is Definitely worthwhile as a sweet treat everyone now and again.
I'd rate my experience as 10/10!! And a definite must try if you are...
