Walked in to have a gentleman tell us to ring the bell. No bell to be found. He panicky grabs a female associate from the back room asking if she can serve us as he is fixing something.
The lady comes out and clearly does NOT want to serve us. Very RUDE and talking way too fast and quiet to understand her. After constantly having to ask her to repeat herself before understanding what she was asking us we finally completed our sauces and topping choices.
After she is done preparing our order of a chicken shawarma pita and gyro beef dinner, she walks over to the grill and starts scooping up old chicken that's clearly been sitting there for a while and puts it in my pita. Then picks up old beef gyro and puts it over top of the rice.
The food was disgusting and probably was the worst shawarma and gyro dinner I've ever had. Chicken was dry, pita was cold, rice was undercooked, barely any sauce, etc.
The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. $25 spent on a horrible dinner that I'll probably get food poisoning from.
Absolutely...
Read moreAs someone who loves shawarma, I have to say Bon A Pita has completely won me over. From the moment I walked in, the smell alone had me excited. The place has a cozy, inviting vibe, and the staff (jashan) is friendly and quick to assist.
I tried their classic chicken shawarma wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, with just the right amount of char. The pita was soft but sturdy enough to hold all the fillings, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. I especially appreciated the fresh veggies, which added a nice crunch, and the garlic sauce was creamy and flavorful without being overpowering.
The portion size was generous, and I left feeling satisfied without being overstuffed. If you're a fan of shawarma, this place should definitely be on your radar....
Read moreI got the chicken shawarma platter on a weekday afternoon, it was really tasty, probably the tastiest shawarma I’ve ever had! Great customer service and a clean place.
However, for $15 (total including tax) it was not enough. I’m someone on the thinner side who usually can’t even finish this same order at Osmows, so for me to say its not enough food is strange. But I really think it needed more rice/chicken and I wasn’t even able to find the hummus. I asked for it spicy but I wasn’t able to taste the hot sauce either so maybe ask for extra hot sauce if you like it spicy.
I would come here again and order extra chicken and rice but I don’t know if it’s worth paying $20, so maybe not.
I think the place should serve pickles, turnips, and garlic potatoes with their platters, which would definitely make it...
