Casamici Trattoria — Restaurant in Caledon

I was on my lunch break at 2pm and went over to eat but the doors were locked. I looked online and it said they close at 3pm for lunchtime. I knocked and called and no answer then a man came and said they closed early. I told him that they should change the times then because how would anyone know when they can eat. I went back to work then tried again later at 8pm right when I finished. I made sure I checked the hours and it said open til 9pm. I hurried over and was hoping to eat a nice meal but once again the doors were locked. A man came to the door and said that they were closed. I once again told them I checked online and the hours say different. He was very blunt and didn’t care at all saying that he would tell the owner of the establishment to change the hours. I told him I also run a business in Bolton and hours of operation are critical for the public to know so you can ensure you have business. He was very rude and said “Ye, that’s nice… A lot of people also own businesses in Bolton. Good for you.” He then kept blabbering to me as I was leaving basically telling me off. Bottom line is, the only thing keeping businesses in business… ARE CUSTOMERS. Rather than being rude how about you justify the situation and how appropriate times on your website and posted in your windows. 100% would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Terrible...

A review is not only on food and service, but it is also on how you feel and the vibes you get when you walk into an establishment. Let's start with the food. My friend and I both had the caprese salad which was pretty good, and the oil had the flavour of fresh basil. I had the gnocchi which was melt in your mouth delicious. Highly recommend. My friend had the veal, and said it did not live up to expectations. I mentioned the vibe because although the food was good, the service consistent , we did not have a welcoming feeling and our waiter was neither friendly or engaging but dry and the atmosphere was cold. I have no doubt they do good business, but that was my first and last visit. If you're going to take my money at least make me feel welcomed. I will take my business elsewhere. As I said, this was my experience and recommend you go and try for yourselves. Would love to hear...

Was here for a party, and was told that they don't have High Chairs. 15 Minutes later another family comes in and were given a high chair right away. So I asked why I was not given one to which the response was we are not supposed to use them but i will get you one now. So this was a set menu and wine was included party. I asked for a beer and was told its not included. That's fine I will pay for a beer no big deal right?? Well apparently because its not included I cant purchase my own beer. I said don't you have a cash bar. The answer was yes. So cant i just go to the bar and buy a beer. The answer was no. Does this guy even realize that he probably lost a couple hundred dollars on this party as other people wanted to buy beer as well?? But hey no big deal. Thee food was good...
