My husband and I have been coming to this location through the drive thru once a week, every week for nearly 6 years. This location used to be so good! But lately the wheels have started falling off. A couple times they have forgotten the extra hashbrown. No big deal so we kept coming anyways. Then the frozen cold brews we get were no longer filled to the full cup size, they started giving us 3/4 full cups. Then last week they gave us very old, dry flakey hashbrowns that were soggy beyond belief with old oil having sat in a hashbrown tray for too long and likely having been re-cooked or something. They were inedible. We also had an order of pancakes that were tasting like dirty old pan which none of us or our daughter could eat. We just got home for this week's order and they had a hashbrown shortage [no problem]. They asked my husband if we wanted fries to substitute instead, my husband said sure no problem. We get home and there are no fries and the pancakes are dried out and old, they have been sitting out for too long before giving them to us. With inflation and ever increasing prices for everything, when we go out and pay to eat it would be nice to receive all the items, or drinks filled up properly or hashbrowns that aren't old or pancakes that are not old and taste like dirty pan. The food is sitting under the pass through heat lamps for WAY too long. This has happened over and over and over more recently and it's frustrating because we are A&W fans and we know it's not the brand but the employees at this location. This location used to be so good. We aren't going to come here anymore. I don’t usually complain (I’ve been coming to this location a lot and order my favourite often) but this time I received an unprofessional, rude, attitude by Maria M from drive thru. I bought a chicken burger meal. The food was ok but the drink tasted horrible. I went back with my drink. They “took my old drink” and exchanged it the first time. They gave me the same drink from the same drive thru station again. When I told them it taste the same, they told me that’s how it supposed to taste and they just changed the syrup (I don’t believe they did) I know how a regular sprite taste and it definitely doesn’t taste like plain sparkling water!!!! I told them to exchange it with a smaller cup of different drink instead. First they wanted me to pay for the drink but I didn’t even drink the horrible tasting sprite I got and I want an exchange. When I was giving the sprite back to them, Maria M said to me that “they don’t take garbage”. If so then why did you take it the first time!!!!! They did not give me a new drink either. Instead I got a bad/rude attitude from this employee!!! I will not come to this location again and I will make sure I tell my friends and family not to come to here. 6 years later, I'm changing this to a five star review. We have had a less than perfect meal here in years. Very fast and very fresh food, and the service is always great. They literally never mess up our order, whether it's ordered in person in the drive thru or through the A&W app.

We love living so close to this location.

Very hit or miss with this location.

A few times we've gone and the drive-thru has been closed for some reason (restaurant was open, very weird) and more often than not their debit/credit machine is down. I know that's not their fault, but get it fixed properly otherwise you're missing out on a lot of business.

The food is always at one extreme or the other - it's either great and hot or terrible and sometimes cold. We've had undercooked sausage on breakfast sandwiches, undercooked fries, over-seasoned burgers, plenty of problems, but we've also been there plenty of times and had perfectly cooked, juicy burgers and everything has been delicious.

I really wish they'd gain some consistency, because when it's good it's great, and we would definitely go more often if they worked...
