I've been to this loacation during the lunch rush and the food, as expected, was fresh and hot. The service was good but not what I'd call exceptional. Today I decided to try it in the evening, when it's not so busy. The staff was busy talking and made me feel as if I was interrupting. The particular woman that took my order did that thing where they sharply ask what you want when you're clearly looking at the board deciding. When I said I needed a moment she sarcastically said to take your time. Then she did that thing where I say part of my order and she abruptly says okay and wants to give you the total. So you actually have to tell her that you are not done ordering... then, she acts like I've taken 10 minutes, and that she's growing impatient, but I've only been talking to her for about 15 seconds. I actually have to tell her "that's everything." Because it's too difficult now for her to ask me when I'm done because I've been such an annoyance. The attitude continues to the entire process ends when one of the other staff members simply slams my order on the counter when it's done and turns away. I have been sitting because the food took some time to prepare. When I did not immediately grab my bag of food and run out of the store, the staff member that had originally slammed my food on the counter turned back at me and asked "uh, is there something else you need?!" I didn't bother engaging her because my food took so long that I assumed it would all be fresh and delicious. It was neither. I will also note the following, I get treated very well everywhere I go, if you check my other reviews you will see no complaints similar to this. Also, this was at 5 p.m. and the location is open until 10 p.m. so, this was essentially primetime. Also, the original disgruntled staff member that I had interrupted was busy cleaning and closing off sections of the restaurant. Something normally reserved for an hour before closing. I'm still a fan of A&W Restaurants and their food but I will never spend another dollar at this location and neither...

First time visiting this A&W at 5325 72 Ave SE, Calgary (Foothills Industrial) and I’m beyond impressed. I read some mixed reviews before coming, but honestly—focusing on the negative doesn’t do justice to places like this. My experience was nothing short of amazing!

I ordered through the app from my vehicle just after 1:00 PM to avoid the lunch rush (Google said it’s busiest between 12–1), and within 3 minutes I walked in—my order was ready in under 2 minutes! Super-efficient.

The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The service? Incredible. Friendly staff with beautiful smiles, and you can tell they enjoy their work. It makes a difference!

I dined in and had a large sugar-free root beer in a chilled glass mug—it hit the spot on a hot day. Tasted amazing, even without sugar! Sweet and refreshing.

Tried the Masala Burger (vegan, Indian-style, mildly spicy) for the first time—WOW. I loved it so much, I’ll definitely order two next time. Also had the classic A&W Plant-Based Burger and two Russet fries. Everything was perfect.

I don’t want to give this location even one star.I used to go on this location every morning for my breakfast or I should say I was a customer of this location for more than a year. This location already messed up my order 2 or 3 times.long story short very rude customer service on a drive thru the attitude of the girl who was serving me was horrible.I called on this location Several times to report this incident to owner but I haven’t got any call back from him/her.I will never ever recommend this location to anyone or if anyone read this message please don’t go to this location as this location is a big disaster.The customer service employees made u think why u shows up there for the order doesn’t matter if it’s drive thru or walk in.THIS A&W Hires No Apology Worst Attitude Kind of people being an ex employee of A&W of Macleod location this areas’s employees need to learn work ethics and customer service relationship.This location treats it’s regular customer very badly even though this location doesn’t seems very busy.Buh...
