Pay attention to your bills and make sure they are accurate. I was charged 18$ for a 13$ glass of wine and normally I wouldn't hold a small mistake against them but when I pointed it out, the server acknowledged the mistake but didn't offer to correct it. Since I was paying in cash, I suggested I would tip according to what the price should be and he can fix it before he closes out the bill - he said his machines were too complicated to do that. He should have immediately corrected the bill. The bill was 92.50 because of a 5$ upcharge it should have been 87.5. With a 20% tip if I had hit the automatic tip on the machine it would have been 18.50+92.50=111$ but instead I left 105$ which is 20% on 87.50. If I had tipped 20% on 92.50, I would have left 111$, the server could have adjusted the bill and pocketed 6$. I would love to believe it was an innocent mistake, but if that was the case it would have been rectified when I pointed it out. Just be sure to double check the items and pricing of them on your bill. This was our first time visiting and it left a bad feeling in my heart that would prevent me recommending it to others. It's a shame because the atmosphere, drinks and food were awesome.
We were a late night table, booking a reservation online at 10:30 when they close at 11, which I recommend they remove as a booking option as there wasn't enough time for us to have a second round of cocktails and felt...
Read moreMe and my group showed up just before 10 PM asking for a table for six. We were high energy because we are all friends reunited. They seated us within five minutes which is amazing, we sat down. We’re all chatting having a good time having a good laugh. Our server finally goes and comes to us and surprisingly goes and says “ that they will not be serving us any alcohol because apparently we all have had too much to drink” which two of our group actually are not drinking anything and no one is actually drunk or have drank too much. We were very shocked to hear this. We had left and said that this was very silly, he just said thank you so much for your understanding which obviously we did not understand anything because we were not intoxicated by any means. We were just very excited to be all together, no one was drunk. It was very strange to be seated at a restaurant and then be told that we are not able to be served, because they somehow think that we had drank much. Let me add that it is a Thursday night and we all have jobs the next day, so no one is going crazy. We are residents of Marda loop and have never been treated this way. We are all very respectful, but apparently being a little bit too happy is not okay for this...

Really disappointed in the service, made a reservation for a table for 2 by the fire a long time ago, and followed up confirming for a table for 2 by the fire. When I got to Bar Rocca there wasn’t a table by the fire available as they didn’t reverse one. When I mentioned my request to the server / host, she just laughed at me. We were sat elsewhere and told that when a table became available we would be moved to it. About 40 minutes into our dining a table became available and they didn’t move us to it, rather that table sat empty for a long time till they gave it to a walk in.
Other than the table, our server didn’t refill our water and wasn’t a round a lot. He ended up finishing his shift partway through our time there and no one helped us after. This is too bad because the food was really good, but with a bill at almost $100 for a couple cocktails and apps, the service needs to be better. I’ve felt better looked after by fast...
