Sunridge Farmers Market — Local services in Calgary

This place is truly a hidden gem! Although it can get pretty busy, and the amount of inventory leaves it feeling pretty cramped, the selection is fantastic! Spices, produce and even kitchen essentials that represent a truly diverse palette. I was shocked at how well priced their produce was! This will definitely replace shopping at the franchise grocery stores. The clearance section is amazing for produce. Most items in this section need to be consumed or used in food storage promptly but the money you save is worth it. If you would like to extend your season of canning, I highly recommend checking out this grocery store. It is requested by the store that you do not take pictures while inside or else I likely would have uploaded so many unique finds. Check this place out, your wallet and pantry...

Used to visit here regularly when they had a store location. Now that it is located in their summer tents at Sunridge, not as often. The isles are very narrow making the "social distancing" exercise pointless. Garlic is imported from China as previously noted in another post. Half of the produce is on par with Safeway on pricing. If you don't get here in the morning, the veggies/fruits have spent a day in high temperatures and begin molding as soon as you get home. Unfortunately they don't have a website to see what daily specials are unless you frequent Facebook. Rarely answer the phone to find out...

I visited here today for the first time ever, my cousin brought me here. First off, wow what a place. The fruit was just so amazing, I grabbed some Asian pears and some Punjabi cookies ( they taste so delicious). It was a real neat experience shopping there and the staff were so helpful and cheerful. The place was neat and clean, everything was well marked out and easy to read. I am definitely going to return and shop here again, what a cool place. Definitely two really big thumbs up and I must say I am destined to become a regular shopper there and I live in the community...
