Awesome restaurant. The atmosphere is great and very unique. I loved the waterfall and weather effects.

The food was excellent and well priced. We had the pani puri, malai momos, and paneer dosa, which were all $9.99 each. Shared between two people, it was too much food for us to finish. The pani puri was especially excellent, though less filling than the other two dishes. We also had the cold coffee shakes, which were quite tasty.

Service was fast and polite. Each booth has a button to call the server, which was responded to promptly. The (I assume) owners were also very nice.

My only complaint is that no water was served to the table. We didn't ask for any, but from some other reviews it seems like they would have charged us for it. That definitely would have soured my experience to some degree if it came up. Providing some basic tap water with the meal would definitely improve...

Ambience: 8/10 Food: 6/10 Overall: 7/10

It was alright. The interior decoration and ambience is something quite different (in a nice way), but the food (ordered two dosas) were not that good. The curries (tomato chutney, sambar and coconut chutney) were nothing special and in small quantities - definitely not enough to enjoy a dosa with. And, well, the dosas were nothing special either - especially the pizza dosa (it really should be taken off the menu). If you're not picky about Indian food in general, and dosas in particular, it is a decent establishment. But if you have known your way around many a dosa, it is disappointing. The staff were kind and friendly, though!

PS. We asked for tap water but were insisted upon that we could only have bottled water (which one has to pay for). Weird. Genuinely a...

Saw a tiktok about this place and was excited to try it out, especially since the interior was so pretty and unique. But when we got there, we were not impressed by the food quality and customer service. The waiter that served and delivered our food was unenthusiastic and it was obvious that he didn’t want to be here. My sister ordered a Soya Tikki Burger and it looked like it got smashed before being refrigerated, then warmed up and served. My orange juice tasted warm and salty, and the sugar cane drink that was ordered tasted like grass. For the poor food quality that we received, it was not worth $65. The only redeeming quality this place has is the cute weather aesthetic. Would not...

Visited Bombay Dosa Cafe in Calgary and it was a treat for the senses! The service was exceptionally fast, ensuring we didn't have to wait long for our delicious meal. The food was not only flavorful but also presented in a unique and creative way on distinctively designed plates. The ambiance was clean, well-lit, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. However, given its smaller size, it might be a bit cozier than some prefer… The unique design of the plates added a special touch to the overall dining experience. Despite the size, the place exudes a charm that makes it worth a visit. Looking forward to returning for another flavorful journey! 👏

Bombay Dosa Cafe is definitely a vibe. I came here as a student looking for a cozy study spot and was pleasantly surprised by the “weather simulator” ambiance. Rain sounds, shifting lights, thunder in the background felt like I was sipping a drink in the middle of a monsoon. A+ for the creativity. But the food? Not quite my thing. The drink I got had vermicelli noodles in it, which caught me completely off guard. Let’s just say I wasn’t emotionally prepared to chew my drink. It wasn’t bad, just not for me. Overall, worth trying once for the experience, but I probably wouldn’t come back for the food.

Awesome food, even better atmosphere. This was seriously an amazing place to eat. While the front of the store is nothing special, the minute you walk down the hall to your table, it’s like you’re transported to another world. The whole vibe of the restaurant is so fun, from the rain noises, to the water features and all the decorations. The food was also very good, the crispy momos were delicious, and so was the onion butter garlic dosa. The staff were lovely, very helpful and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this place.
