Booster Juice — Restaurant in Calgary

Honestly, I want to give this place a higher rating. The wife and I LOVE the fact that theres a booster Juice location on one of our regular commutes... BUT: the parking SUCKS. Yes, we know theres a huge parkade underground, however it's a major deterrent for us to just stop in quick when we have to head down there. We've noticed that the vast majority of times we're in the area that the parking in front is being taken up by the people who are going to the Goodlife Fitness next door. I know parking policy is not potentially in the hands of the tenants of the locations, but I just wanted to call out that it's a serious kick in the teeth to the smaller business on that strip. I know we would be stopping in there more than twice as much, but every time we drive past the small stores are devoid of customers and the stalls are full. I doubt this is the employees of the locations (I'd hope not with such a limited number of stalls that there are on the main road), But it also doesn't make sense to me that if you were going to the gym to make gains you would want to park right in front of the Goodlife door rather then take the stairs (haha). I went in on Monday April 24th at 230 to get a drink for an employee as a treat. I asked for the matcha monsoon dairy free and she made it for me with the yogurt. I told her it has to be dairy free as my employee is allergic and she told me the frozen yogurt is dairy free.

When I got to my car I checked online and the website said that the frozen yogurt was pasteurized. If I hadn't looked that information up and brought it to her attention my employee could have been very sick or worse.

When I brought it back in and asked her to make it without dairy she made another and just added more ice instead of frozen yogurt and now the drink is completely undrinkable as it's just a...

I should of trusted my instinct and not to go to this location because I feel this place is not very sanitary, especially the girl that works there. I went there a few times out of convenience but Friday Sept. 15, 2023 I ordered two drinks. The Mind Over Matcha smoothie tasted bitter and unusual but I drank it all anyways. Two and half hours later, I felt nauseated, then vomited, had a major diarrhea. I felt unwell. I am still recovering and missed 1 day of work.
