OPA! of Greece Canada Olympic Park — Restaurant in Calgary

On July 17,2022 I visited this location. I have been here about 7 times over that past 2 years. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I had in Opas in Calgary second to Heritage Meadows.

I had the man ask me what I wanted on chicken wrap i said what i liked but when the Woman who works there was making it i asked for No onions to be not put in as I changed my mind about the onions.

The WOMAN went ballstic about this change and procceded to try and scold me infront of the customers behind me due to this change.

I advised her we have pre paid for the meal and customer have right to make changes since it hasnt been even completed and she is in the proccess. She was so nasty I asked for refund and left.

The man behind the counter was calm and understood what just happen and agreed to give me a refund right away. As for that Lady. She shouldnt be front facing staff as she doesnt have the patience or composure to deal with basic customer changes to the point of acting aggrressive enough that you physically don't feel comfterable anymore.

I give this OPA a 1 Star for the refund and I hope you dont have the displeasure of...

Recent Jan 1/20 Update on Opa after it was reviewed by manager and the area manager. We went again on Jan 1st. They were open!! This time the chicken souvlaki plate was back to high standards!! Yummy no complaints. Lemon potato great. Extra tzatziki was free .. The containers are small and we live to dip our delicious puffy pita bread into it. Then pour the?2nd one over the chicken and rice. Much improved and so delicious!! Thank you Opa for listening to your customers!! ❤

It seems like hit and miss with us and other commenters. We lately have been unsatisfied with the lack of lemon on the potatoe. Also we ordered extra tzatziki sauce and didn't get it when we got home. Called and manager not in around 630pm .. Girl I spoke with I could hardly understand. Told me to call back for a?Raj tomorrow morning. We used to get amazing food here????? No new mgmt. Been doing it for 10 yrs I was told. November 30th 2022 at 8pm I entered this establishment to be not greeted by anyone. A lady came out after a few minutes and asked what I would like, I asked her how long the food would take and she started to give me attitude.

She said the food will be ready after the people who had ordered was served first. A ton of attitude coming from the lady, I ordered a lamb platter. Within a minute my food was ready before the people that were waiting before I was.

I get home after 5 minutes from opa and the food is cold, the lamb is not cooked. I suspect some foul play as the food was prepared too quick. This is completely unacceptable as my food has been tampered with by an employee who had no reason to give me attitude as I only asked how long the food would take.
