I'm a huge fan of the burger from Bro'kin Yolk, so we were super stoked about this spot. My better half got the Basic B and I decided to try something new and got the Shorty. We also shared a Vietnamese coffee with boba, the waffle fries, and the onion rings. There's nothing much more to say about the Basic B other than its one of our faves. It's not too small, not too big, packs in a ton of flavour , and is just the right amount of messy. If your burger isn't messy, it isn't done right. The Shorty absolutely nailed the texture department. The Onion rings are crunchy and compliment the super tender short rib and fried egg. While the rib meat tasted great, the burger was just a little too rich without much acidity to cut through the fats. It's missing the same kind of oomph that the Basic B has. The waffle fries are both crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We felt that they needed more seasoning, however, especially since they are called "Spiced" fries. The Onion rings are the closest thing you're going to get do A&W fries without making a visit to the burger family. They're super crunchy with a good amount of perfectly cooked onion in the middle. We also felt that they could be seasoned more, though. The Vietnamese coffee with boba is an idea that is surprisingly not seen in many other places. They made the right decision of using less condensed milk as the boba the added bring the sweetness up nicely. The coffee was nice and strong as well. Overall, Bro's To Go is an awesome joint with great food and very reasonable prices. We would prefer a little more seasoning on there sides, but your tastes may vary. The staff were awesome; they were super friendly, attentive, and fast. We'll definitely be back!

Came across this place while I was in the neighbourhood and though I'd stop in. It was not busy at all when I was there, so lots of seating to choose from. Very modern and basic with bright yellow walls inside, but lots of natural light from all the large windows. They also had a cool mural on one of the walls. The staff was quite friendly and helpful; service was also pretty quick. I wasn't sure what to get so decided on the vegetarian option. It had an Impossible veggie pattie, which was cooked well but very basic. Toppings were lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions and a special sauce, which were all delicious. The bun was also nice and soft. All in all, pretty standard and run of the mill. It was not bad, but pretty pricey for just a basic veggie burger - $14 - so I didn't really feel like I got my money's worth. It came with a small cookie, which was soft and fresh, however any sides had to be ordered separately. Overall, I feel it's a bit too hyped up and overpriced. Perhaps their other sandwich options are better, but I wouldn't go back for a veggie burger.

A solid breakfast-centric restaurant! This is a modern and inviting little spot on the corner of Northland Plaza. Their menu is predominantly sandwich based, with a large selection of classic and unique options. There are one or two burgers on the menu, along with a few vegan and gluten free options if I recall correctly. A few options when it comes to sides such as waffle fries and onion rings, and a good amount of drinks to choose from like bubble tea and coffees. The interior is clean but relatively small, and the service is pretty quick and friendly. The food itself is tasty, we’ll prepared and presented. The portions are on the smaller side given the prices but still acceptable. Washroom for paying customers only, and parking is easy to find in the plaza. I was happy with my experience here and I recommend it for anyone looking to have a tasty, lighter meal!

Good quality food, small portions.

Delivery was super slow and almost cold food once we got it but hey, that’s the gamble with delivery I guess.

The quality was great. I got the kale ceasar salad - such a tangy, crunchy, creamy, and salty dish. Checks all the boxes!

The Hot Mess sandwich was so tangy with a mild spice - the chicken was real chicken breast, and the breading ratio was chefs kiss. They nailed all the flavor profiles with the toppings, pickled onions and arugula!? Talk to me. (note: they post NO substitutions on delivery orders).

The husband got the OG burger and said it was good (that’s as far as his foodie critiquing goes friends, bad-good-silence). He also ordered a side of onion rings (again, ‘good’). Only major downfall was 100% the portion size for the price ($40 with no drinks and this doesn’t include the delivery fee/tip). The hubby was definitely still hungry after - I would have hoped a side would come with it for the portioning. Cool joint. Maybe would try it again if I was...
