Coast To Coast Gondola Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

These guys have been making some of the best thin crust pizza for a VERY long time. Make sure you get the thin crust. It's nothing boujee, but it tastes better than a lot of the high end thin crust pizzas I've had (which is a lot). It's really addicting once you get into one. I've always gotten ham and cheese, to me that is the most solid tasting that you cannot go wrong with it. I also like to add mushroom or just get regular a regular cheese pizza. To put it into perspective my mother first had this pizza over 40 years ago. They've been doing this for a long time in Calgary. I don't know what some people are saying about the decline in quality, personally I haven't noticed it and I pay attention to those kind of details. Still, many people have posted great reviews recently, and knowing these guys I know for a fact that they would replace a pizza if it wasn't satisfactory, so it's a win-win. Always pleasant customer service, which is essential for any business. Great Pizza - rough delivery experience.

I have been a longtime supporter of this business. They make great tasting pizza. But I had an awful experience with their delivery driver this evening.

He did not follow the instructions on my order in any way, shape or form. Upon his arrival, he calls my cell phone and says "you ordered pizza?". Not friendly in any way. Next, after I confirm, he says "come pick it up". Making me believe I have to drive to the business' location to pick it up.

I ask him to clarify, and he sounds extremely irritated. He repeats "you ordered pizza? I am here come pick it up."

My whole interaction with this man was very unpleasant. Even when I met him in my condo lobby to get the food, he did not speak a single word to me. He seemed very irritated to even be delivering food.

I've ordered from here ~4-5 times now and generally had good experiences. Decent amount of toppings and cheese, never under or over cooked, pleasant crust texture (thick crust), etc. Their sauce is fairly sweet so I request easy sauce which greatly improves the pizza!

A lot of people recommend the thin crust, which I finally tried for the first time tonight.. and am now left wondering why anyone ever suggested this? It's less pizza for the same money (thin crust are universally 1" smaller than the "thick crust" pizzas here), and to me, nothing about the thin crust was good. Far too crunchy on the edge and soggy the rest of the way through. I 100% regret paying money for it and wouldn't ever order it again even at 1/4 the price.
