COBS Bread — Restaurant in Calgary

I find this Cobs to have good quality products. The customer service is lacking. I have rarely received a please or thank you from anyone here. When explaining Covid safety measures that I may have done incorrectly, I got a curt, "you can't do that move over there". Also, an older person came in as I was there, and same thing, "put on your mask properly". Why can't they say, "sorry you may not realize that you don't have your mask on properly" I don't think I will bother with this place anymore. Went there today. Entered the store with no greeting. Was told that if I wasn’t going to purchase anything that I didn’t need to be here. I turned around and left of course without buying anything. How do you expect me to buy anything with that horrible attitude. The “kind” lady that helped me had a brown hair in a ponytail. If you’re unhappy working there, don’t project it on clients that are there to spend their hard earned money. I love Cobbs Bread but I will never return to this location again. I’ve been going to the Cobbs on Elbow and 76ave for about the last 15 years and until today I’ve always had a great customer experience. Today (@10am) however, the young lady who was working the register was far from this. The scowl on her face expressed a grumpy and angry individual. Not one ounce of friendliness, huge chip on her shoulder. Certainly no way to treat customers. Possibly some training on how to greet people may be appropriate.
