I am going to take you on a little trip through my experience,
This was our second time coming to this location, we had ordered online for pick up. Our pick up time was for 7:28pm, by 7:40pm our order was finally ready but I had watched them place it in a bag off to the side and nobody informed me it was ready or called out for it or anything. They knew I was there as when I arrived I had spoken with the individual at the front counter and they called out and let everyone know I was here. Finally by almost 7:50pm someone noticed my order just sitting there and had finally called out for me.
I grabbed my order and sat down to eat. We had then noticed we were missing the 3 sides of sour cream that they charge extra for. I went up to the counter asked for the sour cream a lady helped me out and provided it to me and I went and sat back down. That’s when my husband informed me that the raspberry sauce that again we paid extra for was not in his burrito so I took the burrito and the order sticker and went back up.
This is where my biggest problem is, it wasn't waiting 20 minutes past my pickup time, it wasn’t watching my meal get tossed to the side and forgotten, it wasn’t even the forgotten sour cream. It was the manager and his attitude.
As multiple other reviews state this male manager is not great.
When I got back up, burrito and order in hand to prove I had ordered it the manager had asked me how he could help me. I let him know and even showed him the burrito that there was no raspberry sauce, he insisted it was inside, I again said it is not, he pushed that it was, and again he said it’s included inside, so at this point I had enough and asked him if he would like me to open the burrito on the counter infront of him and he rolled his eyes and said to do it. That is when another employee who isn’t a manager had stepped in.
I let her know there was no raspberry sauce and she immediately asked if I wanted it remade and I let her know I just wanted some for the side. But that I wanted to speak with the manager regarding the interaction I had just had and she let me know he was the manager.
The lovely employee then got another manager and I had explained the entire situation. That I waited, I was patient, they forgot things, I was still patient. Didn’t say a word, but when I bring up forgotten sauce that cost extra the manager will argue and roll his eyes insisting it’s inside.
All I wanted was the sauce I had to pay extra for. It is wild to me that the manager so boldly would roll his eyes and stay insistent that I am in the wrong after I had come up prior with nearly the same issue and could prove it wasn’t there and I had paid for it especially when another employee has to intervene and send him away to de-escalate him from the situation he has no business being a manager.
If anyone working anywhere else had been mentioned poorly in this many reviews (while the business is still so new) and treated customers the way he treats customers they wouldn’t be employed anymore.
I hope the owner takes a good look at how this “manager” is acting and considering retraining him on some customer service skills...
Read moreI’ve come to this location a handful of times and the service and portions are to an absolute minimum. Today was no different. I was pleasant with my server Christine, but didn’t get the same in return. I ordered a burrito and she picked the over baked tortilla with quite a few burn marks, so I asked her to give me a different one. She barely put any rice or black beans, and just slopped the beans onto the rice as though she was upset. Then came the protein, which in this case was shredded beef. Again, barely any meat for the size of the burrito. Instead of the proper portion size she just picked little pieces of shredded beef and left it at that. My friend noticed and wasn’t impressed either (she also had to ask for more meat on her tacos). After wrapping the burrito and putting sauce on top she didn’t add cheese, which is how it’s supposed to be. So, I had to ask her to add it. As I was standing waiting for my burrito to go through the oven, I watched her coworker make the exact same burrito for a online order and he added a healthy portion of shredded beef, as well as the beans and rice. The difference was very noticeable once wrapped and put into the oven. After a few bites I decide to cut my burrito down the middle and was not impressed at how little meat there actually was. I took it back to the front and asked for a refund, and she immediately said she’ll remake it, which I declined. She knew damn well she messed up and now wanted to make up for it. I politely called her out in front of her coworkers as they gathered around the till wondering what was going on. If you don’t want to keep things consistent, especially at a franchise business, you’re going to lose customers, and you’ve lost me. I’ll never come back to this location again. I ended up driving all the way down to the Southland and MacLeod location where it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff are interactive, happy to be there, and remember us every time we’re there,...
