If I could give this place a review of less than 1 star I would. I went in to get a blizzard and a milkshake. The place was not very busy at the time although there seemed to be a lot of people waiting quite awhile including myself. First off the lady working at the counter was not very pleasant and asked me twice how I would like to pay as I was holding my debit card where she could see it. Someone had dropped a blizzard on the floor which of course splattered all over multiple people, although it didn’t affect me I noticed not one of those people got any sort of apology from the staff. When I got my order they gave me a small blizzard (I had ordered a medium and even a couple other people around heard me) while the guy was checking it I also checked my receipt and realized the lady had charged me for a small not a medium. I think the guy who I told was going to offer to make a medium which I would have paid for but I didn’t want to stand around and wait for even longer so I just took the small. Then finally when I got home (only a 5 minute drive) my blizzard was so melted it was literal soup and when I took the lid off had it spill all over my floor, couch and clothes and had to put it into a bowl to actually make it stop leaking and eat it. I’ve gone to multiple other DQs that are a lot farther from my house and this hasn’t happened to this extent. I think they need to make sure their ice cream is actually ice cream and not just melted cream especially for the price they charge. And maybe the lady at the counter needs to start actually listening to what the customers say and get an attitude adjustment. Needless to say, not very impressed and I will not be back to...
Read moreWhat started as a normal afternoon searching for ice cream quickly turned to a incredibly disappointing series of events. After being ignored while trying to order I finally paid and waited patiently for 10 minutes before the first glimpse of what might be food finally came out. I walked out and got in my car before remembering that my meal was supposed to come with a drink. This didn't really bother me, I could have a drink at home. I got over it and opened my food to eat my burger only to find that I was given a dry bun with only lettuce on it. This.... This was not something I could shoulder shrug off, you never deny a man his rightful bacon. I walked back in and told them that I got nothing that I actually asked for and had to wait another 10 minutes while holding my melting ice cream in my hand. It took me 3 tries to get somebody to give me the cup that I paid for previously and none of this actually mattered as when I finally got my food, melted ice cream all down the only pants that make my butt look good, I walked out to my car and dropped my drink as I tried to unlock my car door with a mess of "food" in my hands. Fate never intended for me to enjoy that orange crush. All of this struggle and I could have just taken my money across the street and bought beer instead. In the end she gave me a crumpled coupon that I am pretty sure is expired. All in all this actually wasn't my worst fast food experience, A&W once served me a pop that was filled with dead ants. Thanks for reading the only review of something I will ever write. I found this event particularly inspiring to write about as I am really mad about...
Read moreI’m not sure exactly why so many corners ar evening cut at this location, but I am so disappointed with my whole experience today that I feel they need to be addressed. I put in my order with a polite young woman, and wait. There were two orders ahead of mine. I waited and watched as orders were placed to be packed on the counter while the girl filled cups and other things. Needless to say, in the 15 minutes I stood and waited, my order got very cold. When I was finally handed the bag, I go to fill my pop and the machine sprayed me full of pop. I mentioned it to the cashier and she just said - yeah - you have to be careful - and then went about her business. I was covered - all over my shirt, pants, and arms. Ok. Not fun. When I get my cold order home, I really saw the extend of the “money saving” tactics: my kids banana had both ends cut off and was very old and inedible (obviously one of the bananas prepped for ice cream useage), his “chocolate milk” was barely brown - regular milk with hot chocolate sauce squirted in the bottom of the cup , and there were hardly any fries in the containers.
I have worked in the food service industry for years, and I have to say, I’m very disappointed. I hope management sees this review as a chance to really rethink some of their strategies when it comes to customer service, food quality, and training staff to prioritize. I won’t be returning to this location...
