Canadian Brewhouse advertises certain sizes of beers, Ie 22oz, 12 oz etc. If you measure the 22oz the glass itself is 22oz to the very top (meniscus). They pour to the handle (18oz). If you ask them to fill it up, they say its "industry standard" and will not pour anymore. Basically, you are paying 22oz, and receiving 18oz. If you have been a long time customer I encourage you to contact AGLC, as well as Measurements Canada. You have been getting ripped off for years. Canadian law specifically states :- A pint contains 20 fl oz (568 ml) in Canada. The limit of error for 20 fl oz is 0.5 fl oz (the foam (head) is not included in the measurement). When a quantity other than a pint is advertised, the quantity served must be must be equal to the stated quantity within the limit of error. The photo i have posted shows the 2 22oz glasses as served. The one on the left (with beer) is how its served. The one on the right is a measured glass which contains only 20ozs. Look at the difference. When poured and measured you are only receiving 18ozs. What a rip off.

From Albuquerque New Mexico and I can say much to my great surprise Taco Tuesday did not disappoint. I tried every Taco they had their on their menu along with the quesadilla and found all of the items bursting with flavors authentic to the cuisine. More spice than found in the two closest states. This chain really does deserve all the praise. These are recipes I would cook and honestly I'm not used to my food being in competition with dining out. Didn't catch the bartender's name that was very quick with it especially with me just rattling off the order of everything on this side of the menu and I didn't mind the upsell on the salsa. It was a good house made salsa and the guacamole was chunky good sign it was fresh for the most part but probably what I liked least which is shocking. A little bit more lime juice for the acid a pinch of salt was all it was missing. The margarita was on point, garnish beautifully with a nice rim, I know the photo is bad but trust me with a jalapeno and lime it looks real good. It's simple drink but good on you all for doing it so well.

3.75/5 Unfussy pub with lots of screens. Literally the pinnacle of sports bar design with screens at every viewing angle and sports garb all over the place. The service was good and the food was marginally better than other chains that rhyme with Austin Pizza. I know the whole affordability thing has sort of gotten out of hand but the only thing that chaps me about this place is very little in the way of sandwiches under the 20-25$ range which means you are looking at between 25-40$ a head for a burger lunch if you have a domestic beer. The wings at .69 cents are served in baskets of 8-10 wings which is slightly less than other bars in the area and slightly more expensive. All things considered they came out hot and fresh and reasonably crunchy. I'd probably come back here again but I'd have to plan it on a special night I wanted to get a burger but $20+ for a burger and bag fries seems extreme, alas that's where we are at now at most chain pubs now.

Absolutely Awful Experience – Avoid This Location

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Canadian Brewhouse in Mahogany (Calgary) and feel compelled to finally speak up. I’ve given this location multiple chances over the years without ever complaining, but this visit was the final straw.

To start, our server didn’t know the specials or any details about them and seemed confused when we asked basic questions. Once we finally ordered, the food came out ice cold and missing sauces that were supposed to come with it. It took ages for the server to bring the sauces, and by then, the food was inedible.

We asked to speak to a manager, and the experience went from bad to worse. The manager lacked any warmth, personality, or basic customer service skills. She brushed off our concerns, didn’t offer a single apology, and made no effort to make things right or even reassure us that our food would be fixed properly.

The second round of food came out and was still cold. The meat was now tough (clearly microwaved), and other components were missing toppings altogether. It tasted awful, and yet we were charged full price. Not once did the manager take responsibility, apologize, or attempt to make our experience better. Also it’s Taco Tuesday… don’t tacos come with salsa? Why are we charged for salsa? Why were we charged for cold microwaved tasting food!!

We remained polite the entire time, but it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. This manager has no business being in a leadership or customer-facing role.

Do not go to this location. It’s been consistently poor, and this visit proved they truly don’t care about the...

I've rarely encountered the level of incompetence, I was presented with at this location of the Brewhouse. Not only did they get the order wrong, they left out the French fries with my beef dip, and when asked for just a little bit of horseradish mayo, the meat is soaked in it literally glistening with the milky sheen of melted mayonnaise having coated it entirely. Then the person claiming to be the general manager says he doesn't have access to the full function of the debit machines and can't refund my order in the restaurant... I apparently have to give them my card # and wait 5-7 business days for a refund...

What kind of general manager doesn't have the ability to manage their restaurant? What is your purpose if not to manage staff and customer issues? Especially in the case of take out when you pay before eating.... you don't get to take payment, hand someone something they didn't order, then refuse a timely refund. I paid nearly $50 + tip for a specific order, I did not receive it. Then you refuse to rectify the mistake and tell me I get to wait 5-7 business days for a refund to be issued by your head office... if you don't conveniently lose the information or "forget" to pass on the message.

If there's an issue with the order and the customer asks for a refund, you do it on the spot. Thanks for filling up my garbage can with your inability to follow simple instructions. You may want to consider a career change to scraping gum...

It is somewhat upsetting to have to write this review. As I have been coming here for a number of years now. But the last five or six times that my fiancé and I have come here our food has been so bad that we have had to send it back almost every time. One of the most egregious examples was when we both ordered a ribeye steak and we both got it well done when we had both ordered for medium rare. I am not a chef, but even I know how to cook a steak, let alone in a professional kitchen. It should be cooked until it’s internal temperature reaches a certain point. The other examples would be the fish and chips with the fish undercooked, and the fries cold to the touch. And almost completely lacking in flavor. My fiancé almost always complains about the amount of salt on something when I cook, so if she’s adding a decent amount of salt, it definitely means that I need some flavor. I do not derive pleasure from this review because this place used to be a decent place to go. I’m not sure who the head chef is or who manages the kitchen in an oversight role. But I think it is time that they reevaluate their decision on this as a career. The only reason I gave this review two stars instead of one is because the servers do their job to the best of their ability. That being said, I do think it is somewhat unwise that the times we have had to send food back because it is either cooked wrong or cold to the touch and no compensation was offered is...
