Pho Hoan Pasteur (Mahogany) — Restaurant in Calgary

I hate to do it to a local restaurant but after the last experience I can say I will not be visiting them again. We ordered a pickup order through doordash as we were coming back home from Canmore. Doordash approved and accepted the order. When we arrived no trace of our order was to be found, while I understand these things happen, how the situation was dealt with is the most frustrating part. I showed them my email confirmation and doordash app confirming my order.

I was asked by staff to confirm I had ordered at the Mahogany location (which is fair since they have multiple locations), this was not the case and after confirming with multiple staff, I was then told that I did not know how doordash worked and that it was to be delivered and pickup was not an option. A manager was called but no resolution was made, eventually I left after 20 minutes of waiting and talking with staff with no alternative or food with a full vehicle of hungry kids and spouse. I was directed to contact doordash who issued me a refund but not before the restaurant accepted my money and charged my visa for my apparent non-order.

I understand that these things happen but I would hope that staff would be trained in these types of things as I cannot be the first person this has happened to. Regardless, it is unfortunate as we did enjoy the food here but this last customer service experience has soured us to...

Me and my girlfriend have been coming to this restaurant regularly since they opened. I have brought my parents, as well as friends visiting here, and never have I, nor anyone else, been less than amazed. The service is amazing, very happy and friendly. Dishes and the restaurant is always very clean and pleasant smelling. The food, no matter what you order, is delicious. I've tried a wide variety and have never been left feeling disappointed. I travel all of the time for work, and have eaten Pho all over, and still find this restaurant my all time favorite. The spring rolls taste very very similar to the home made ones my family makes from an old authentic recipe. The quality, quantity and flavor is un-matched. I have eaten at other Pho Hoan Pasteur locations around Calgary and Edmonton, and none have come close to this location either.

Been coming here for years - for both dine in and pick up. Recently I had a bad experience and the restaurant and dasher did not take accountability for their mistakes, both blamed it on each other. A friend of mine ordered a gift to be delivered to me as I am not feeling well. I was delivered the wrong order and when I called the restaurant to ask for the correct order, they asked me several times if I had the right restaurant and assured me it was not there, and I am vietnamese so I do understand what they are saying to each other. Told my friend to call the restaurant and immediately they told her it was there and I would have to pick it up, even though the delivery fees were paid.
