Short Summary: If they make your order wrong they will blame it on you and offer no refund They will never take responsibility when they make mistakes They may serve you dirty or ill looking food
Detailed experience: First I want to say I have ordered many cakes from Dairy Queen on Memorial Drive and they always look good and have a smooth top layer. However I am extremely disappointed with this Forest Lawn location. I gave them a reference photo of what I wanted on my cake and in the photo is a brown dog. However they decided to make the colour of the dog NEON YELLOW because they said they didn’t have brown. I told them if they did not have the colour brown they should have told me instead of just making my dog NEON YELLOW. (Because why would it make sense for a dog to be neon yellow? At least make it grey or mix a bunch of different colours to make brown) They also asked me for my phone number when I booked the cake so they definitely were able to contact me if needed.
When I told them they made my cake’s colour wrong, they said “well you should have told us we couldn’t use a different colour like yellow instead”. I should not have to tell them this because I gave them a reference photo and that is self explanatory. (It is basic customer service to let your customers know if you do not have a product they want; not go ahead and make their custom cake wrong)
I paid extra money for a custom image and they did the custom image wrong.
Now on to the appearance of the cake. When I got home and opened up the box completely I saw the dog being yellow was not the only problem. My cake also had ripples all along the top layer and even dirty marks of brown at the corner, it did not make the cake look appetizing. It looked like whatever tool they used to spread the top layer must’ve been covered in left over chocolate and wasn’t clean. I told them I wanted a partial refund for the failed design and they told me to go somewhere else if I am unhappy with their location. That kind of response is absolutely rude and not helpful customer service. If someone gives you a reference photo it is common sense to use the colours in the reference photo. What’s mainly upsetting is not only the appearance of my cake and its design but the staff’s lack of care for their mistakes and lack of care to fix them. As you can see they completely avoided accountability. The customer service was blatantly unacceptable.

Read moreIf you want to be treated like a criminal even though you've paid for your food, then please go here!!
The owner will not take responsibility for failing to train the new male employee correctly, who seems to think the he walks on water and can treat customers however he likes.
The owner of this location will also NOT HONOR THE "IF ITS NOT SERVED UPSIDE DOWN, THE NEXT ONE IS FREE!" Bought 1 XL large Reese's xtreme and 1 large Reese's xtreme and BOTH WERE HALF MELTED by the time they were handed to me. Then I found a hole in my cup and had to go back in to get another one, the same trainee employee was treating another customer like they were garbage and he thought that was acceptable then he refused to get me a second cup until I asked six times.
When I complained that the blizzards were NOT SERVED UPSIDE DOWN, and I'd like the coupons, so that I could come back at a later date to redeem the vouchers. I was told NO REFUNDS! I kindly pointed out the policy on the poster, which I've shared here as will... IT CLEARLY STATES THAT SERVED UPSIDE DOWN OR THE NEXT ONE IS FREE!! BOTH THE STORE MANAGER AND OWNER REFUSED to give my any kind of solution to the situation that the NEW TRAINEE caused, due to the owners negligence to train the trainee correctly.
I have NEVER had issues with this store before as I have been going there for 2.5 years and have always had great service until today! I was not impressed with how the management chose to ignore the "customer is always right" saying especially after I was treated like a criminal by the trainee..
If your wanting a blizzard, I strongly suggest you going to a...
Read moreWhere do I start, first off the girl in the drive through window was pretty snooty for no reason so that was fun secondly we got double charged for condiments that were already supposed to be on the burger so wth ... thirdly it is advertised on the website that the meals we bought were 7 busks and now they are telling us that that’s is corporates mess up that the prices changed even tho they are still continues to charge us the regular amount. Regardless weather or not it is Corporate’s mess up they still need to sell it for what it’s advertised for!! I called to ask to speak with a manager this young kid answers the phone has absolutely no idea what he’s doing (I get it’s not his fault but shame on the manager that is supposed to be there and isn’t). I asked him to reimburse us and he says he doesn’t have the authority to do so so I asked to speak to someone that does and he replies there’s no one here I’m like ok so if one of your staff injured themselves or something happened where you needed someone in charge to deal with the issue who would you try and get ahold of he replied idk probably the manager (the one who’s no where to be found and not answering the calls?! Lol I don’t understand the way the world works today, we also got hot fudge Sunday’s and I think they put a twirler width amount of chocolate around the side, I would of asked for more but I know they would of charged us an extra 2-3 dollars. I’m pretty disappointed there was more that happened but I’d be here all night writing a...
