Hong Chou Inn — Restaurant in Calgary

I ordered the special that was pork chops potatoes and beef vegetable soup. I asked if I could substitute the potato for a strip of cheese as I am on a special diet. I was told no so fine I just said I would have the pork chop and the soup. When they came out with these small soup I realized very quickly that it was Campbell's alphabet soup. I don't go to restaurant to eat canned nasty soup. When I asked her about this I was given a dirty look and she took the soup away. I'm not just complaining because it was canned soup which I could not eat. But also the fact thought it tasted like it had gone bad and cooked in a pot that had been used for deep frying. So needless to say I only had two paper thin pork chops that word lightly salt and peppered for dinner. I asked them if I could just pay for the two pork chops as that is all I was given. She took $0.90 off my bill that was it. So I paid $13 for two paper thin pork chops. At no time was I offered an apology or offered the substitute. I would never go here again. The people that I was with ordered a variety of Chinese foods. I tried some of the beef and some of the chicken wings which were also outrageously gross. But to each their own my major complaint is how I was treated and what I was served. I can't stress enough when somebody goes to a restaurant they are not wanting canned soup like...

So I have been order from Hung chow and Never had an issues. But today I ordered food. It took 1hour and 48 minutes to be delivered. Normally it’s like 45 minutes. My food was Luke warm so I had to warm it up in the microwave. I couldn’t send it back because I have kids to feed and they have already waited so long for food. I then noticed that one of my dishes was completely wrong. So I called them to rectify the situation. Then man on the phone then told me I would have to pay extra for the dish I had actually ordered. I said to them, this is their fault for getting the wrong order and the man laughed at me on the phone and told me their was nothing he could do.
