Food is good and prices are decent with one exception... Their pricing is questionable as far as how they display their prices versus what they charge you at the front counter. They have a big sign on their window that reads one slice of pizza for $3 or two slices of pizza for $6. At the bottom of the same sign it it reads "free pop". Then why did I go in and get charged $6.50 when the total should only be $6.30 with the tax included? The first time I went into this location I was charged $8 for two slices with a can of pop, so it appears they are making prices as they go which is not cool considering false advertising is actually illegal in Canada and it appears they're falsely advertising prices and charging a different price at the front counter than what they advertise on their storefront signs. I warn others to beware of this shady business practice. We're all trying to save money right now with the way food prices are going up! Businesses like King Pizza are not helping the problem! I would have gave five stars if it wasn't for the fact I was wrongly charged twice, since the food is good and service was pretty good. One of my biggest pet peeves is getting charged a different price than what's advertised when it comes to making purchases at businesses. It's not something I take lightly hence the reason for one star. It happened twice to me so... If you're charging different prices than what your signs advertise on your store then you should be updating your prices on the...
Read moreThis guy saw me coming a mile away. had me hooked from the first second! The owner is an old school, people first business person, happy to chat and make you feel welcome when he gets a second away from either the constant phone orders or the kitchen. He knows how to earn your business and get you to want to come back. Tried 2 of his 14's today and an order of barbecue wings. The food is delicious. The pizzas had cheese and toppings right to the edge, the crust is crispy, just the right thickness and not greasy or watery in the middle. The toppings are quality and good'n'chunky. But it's the wings that are the real star. For the same price as the bargain basket of "wings" you get from the pub you get a an order of HUGE breaded wings cooked in a pressure cooker (like they are supposed to be)they are moist, tender and deeply flavorful, and the barbecue sauce is top shelf! So overall this guy has earned his KING OF PIZZA title with the perfect trifecta of great food, great prices and great service. But you shouldn't order here, I don't wanna wait longer...
Read moreUpdateed review: I think I gave this place too much of a positive review then they deserve!! Went back to the same location the day after I wrote the previous review and ordered four slices of pizza and two pops which normally cost either $6.50 each for two slices and a pop or for all four slices and two pops it should have been $13 but I got charged a whopping $16 today - not to mention the pizza was horribly dry and not fresh either! Will definitely not be returning to this location after coming countless times to purchase pizza from here with no issues!
Good food good service pizzas always fresh usually when you buy a slice pizza it's all so fresh and the guy behind the counter will warn you if it's not and offer to make you a fresh one if you're willing to wait a few extra minutes. Pricing is very reasonable here too they don't gouge the crap out of you like a lot of...
